"There is nothing not to like about Hotel de Zwaan en it's restaurant. Both the hotel and the restaurant staff are very friendly. The restaurant has a unique menu and I enjoyed my veal dish thoroughly. The breakfast was excellent. My room was large and quiet. The bed comfortable. Nice shower."

"No small breakfast option so €22 was excessive for a bowl of cereal, a coffee and an OJ. No other options in the area. The room was OK apart from the pile of pubes in the corner next to the loo. The banging from below, and as we were on the 1st floor, it wasn't another guest, was the worst bit, this went on til midnight and no staff could explain what it was or why. Wasn't worth the money, I expected better."

"We loved the character of the property. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good. The staff were helpful. We enjoyed the little garden with plenty of shade from trees. 15 minute walk from the bus and train stations was manageable with luggage. We would stay here again."

"It’s such a beautiful and relaxing place with everything you need for a great stay. The pool is lovely and the bike hire and tennis court are fantastic features to fill your time too. The restaurant food amazing and all the staff are very helpful and friendly. The accommodation is outstanding, spacious and modern with everything you need and more… the sauna was a great feature and well used by us… such beautiful houses in beautiful surroundings we couldn’t have possibly found anywhere better to...

"The room had air conditioning, which wasn't advertised. So that was good. Shower wasn't clean. Side tables not clean. Pump for shower gel inoperative. Cobwebs on the stairs. Mattress was like sleeping on jelly. Shower a tad too small.breakfast was just ok. With the serving utensils, it was not at all clear if you should put them back or leave in the bowls of food, so cross contamination of foods is definitely happening"
