"This is a “must stay and relax” type of place. The staff is incredible, the customer service is superb and the amenities (spa. Swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, boating, biking, etc.) is fabulous. "Good hotel if you're just looking for a place to sleep, since you’ll probably be out exploring most of the time. It’s not a 5-star property, but it does the job for a night or two. Staff were friendly and the location is spot on — about a 10–15 minute walk to the lake and the center of Thun. Parking is available right next to the hotel and it’s affordable, but make sure to have some Swiss Franc coins on you."

"das Zimmer ist superschön eingerichtet. Die Matratze auf den ersten Blick etwas zu weich, zum Schlafen war es dann aber gut. Tagsüber und am frühen Abend hört man die die Leute auf dem Flur. In der Nacht ist es aber sehr ruhig, trotz Nähe zum Bahngleis. Frühstücksbuffet ist abwechslungsreich und frisch. Gerne wieder. "

The pearl of Lake Thun-Schadau Castle. An incomparable location with lush green gardens, this castle looked as if it has just popped out of a Harry Potter series or some other fairy tale book. I wish I could be a Snow White or a Rapunzel to be swept off my feet by my Prince Charming here.
