Hotel shut down

This hotel has shut down, we had a wasted journey and had to come home and it ruined our weekend, nobody cancelled our booking or informed us.

Amazing

Came here for a mid week break first time of coming to Scarborough and it was amazing from start to finish. Very friendly staff very welcoming and no trouble to help when need. The view from the room was breath taking looking over the north bay and the castle. The room was beautiful very clean and had everything in what we need. Will deffo be planning on coming back soon next time longer and with my daughter

Family trip

Scarborough is a very nice place but after a couple of days there is not much to do unless you go out further a field which can be expensive. B&B let it down for us, room was very small for a family room, shower leaked, bedding did not smell fresh but rather of old washing that had not been dried properly. Couldn't open window to let in air due to outside noise of both the birds but also building work. Door to the room did not shut properly. Room was also too warm, no fans. Photos on website I would say need updating as they where not reflective especially the outside as they show it to be bright and inviting which it wasn't. Could hear other guest in the house at 5.30 in the morning. Breakfast was not to bad but have had better. It was also cash only which was not stated on the website. Sorry but would not recommend to friends and certainly will not be going back there.

Super views

Amazing view from my window over the whole of Scarborough's bay. Parking permits came as part of the stay which was very useful considering how busy the town was. Generous well-cooked breakfast with friendly, efficient service.

Ok hotel with a nice view of beach/castle

Ok location if you want to view or to visit castle. If using a car not a great location as parking is difficult. Bedding had strong detergent smell. The room was a bit cramped. Breakfast was lovely though.

Nice Bed and Breakfast

Nice bed and breakfast, we had a lovely sea view. Breakfast was good. 10 minute walk to either the South Bay or North Bay. Would stay again.

A lovely bed and breakfast overlooking the sea front. Its also got quick and easy access to both north and south bays.

Very good in places, some not so.

They have done a good job of modernising the property. Fibre broadband in every room is good. Room three is well decorated and clean, but tiny. Further, the en-suite isn’t, but outside, so not so private.

Nice quiet area of Scarborough with lovely views of the North bay. Nice selection of breakfast available. Only downside was the room we stayed in would have been better as a single, slightly too small as a double.

We booked a sea view but never got our sea view room was very small.but for the price we payed we carnt moan really, but up stairs from us was banging all nite kids were running about untill 1.30 Sunday morning which I wasn't happy about staff were very friendly tho and breakfast was lovely....

Great service and clean but tiny room.

The room was tiny. The breakfast was good. The service was great. The private bathroom on the landing was not ideal.

The hotel was lovely, the location was great, although parking was a struggle, when you have a trunk full of gear for comic con and two kids that's an issue, but the people were lovely, the room was roomy, well equipped and clean and the breakfast was good.

Nice hotel close to the town centre

Very nice hotel people were friendly lovely breakfast. The room was very warm which makes a change from other hotels I've stayed

Was a wonderful stay. Everything was good. The only thing i didnt like was all the stairs we climbed to our room but it added to my daily exercise.

Good for the price.

Good location, friendly owner, comfortable environment. Breakfast average - fresh coffee would've been nice, and maybe a fruit and yoghurt option. Vegetarian cooked breakfast was available though which was appreciated.
