Pub was not able to offer an evening meal for ourselves and 2 guests as they had run out of food and no delivery was expected until the following morning. We stayed in a very nice cottage next to the Mayfield. It was very clean and modern looking in the bathrooms. There are very large beds in both rooms , each having a bathroom, very convenient.
