Important - did not stay here so this is only regarding policy. A member of my immediate family unexpectedly fell ill just before, and ended up passing during, the dates of this reservation and we obviously had to cancel - a week long trip - $$. The hotel refused to provide even a fraction of the payment, or apply any credit at all toward a later stay, etc. Just a complete lack of understanding, as you’d expect from a large corporate chain hotel, and we paid the whole amount for nothing. They did allow us to change the name on the reservations so someone could use the room for one night, hence 3 stars instead of fewer.
