You will not find a nicer, more genuine couple than the new owners of this charming hotel in Sault. From the instant you arrive, they make you feel like family and do everything possible to ensure you have a perfect stay. Bicycle friendly accommodation with secure storage for your bike. Delicious homemade meals made every evening with care. Highly recommended. We can’t wait to return!
Great location to view lavender fields. Clean and very friendly staff. Extra firm bed and pillows. No air conditioning. The only problem we had was because of no air conditioning. We were in a front bedroom overlooking the street. We had our window open which was lovely but customers in restaurant below stayed very late every night we were there and very noisy and smoking so closed window and roasted. Also for such a little town there was a lot of traffic on road at night. Maybe ask for a room in the back? A lot of cyclists stay there so lots of clacking on tile floor from their shoes!!! Lovely place though and the town is nice. Beautiful square down the way with unbelievable view of lavender fields. Would stay here again.
Good sized room with wet room for shower. Very clean and tidy, comfortable bed. Stayed in Sault for riding Mount Ventoux the following morning. Pretty village with a nice selection of shops there was a market in the square on the Wednesday morning we visited. Also bicycle shop locally offering services and hire.
We were on a bike tour. The super friendly owners met us at reception and made us feel welcome and gave us tips on where to get supplies. A large secure parking for our bikes. Close to the centre of town.
Albion Hotel does not have any luxury aspects to the eye but was rustic, absolutely clean, great wifi, beds comfortable and very modern toilet. Had all the basic amenities. The owner was very helpful and nice.
Renee and Brigiette are wonderful hosts who accommodated us even through we arrived after regular reception hours. Our room had two very comfortable twin beds which were easily pushed together. The bathroom was updated and supplied with lavender soap that the district is famous for. Our room faced the street that runs through the center of town and we were not disturbed by the sound of traffic due to updated windows, however, we were greeted by beautiful light as the sun rose. A 9€ breakfast buffet offered at 7:30am and 9:30am included coffee, juice, milk, croissants, yogurt, cereal, toast, pastry, and fruit. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Sault or tour the lavender fields of Provence.
Sault is great place to base yourself if you like it quiet, in preparation to climb the legendary Mont Ventoux. Hôtel d'Albion has everything you will need. Great food, friendly helpful staff and the all important garage in which to put your bike.
