Great location and friendly staff

We stayed for six nights. Positives - The lady on reception was super helpful and always smiling. Great location for Walking Street, Sunrise Beach and Pattaya Beach. Room was a good size and quiet enough away from the music on Walking Street. The only real down side: The room wasn't the cleanest with cobwebs above the pictures and the walls in the bathroom were dirty. Great value for Lipe and would definitely stay again.

Great central location right on Walking Street, with lots of places to eat and drink nearby, and a couple of minutes walk from Sunrise Beach. Not the best check-in experience - first they couldn't find my booking at all, then they asked me to pay for it despite the fact I'd paid online already. All sorted eventually but not the best start to a stay! Staff were friendly, room was clean and comfortable. A bit noisy, but when you're that central you have to expect that.

Nice!

The staff was very nice and lovely. We stayed 4 nights with no problem - we just had some problem with aunts on the floor, and we came a cross a fight with one cockroach- but don’t see that as a problem really. The location was great and next to an amazing cafe- “cafe tropical”!

Inget att rekommendera. Ganska dyrt för det man betalade för. Smutsigt och man fick aldrig städat, lakanen o handdukar hade massa snuskiga fläckar. Massa insekter och även kackerlackor. Fungerade med insektetsspray för att hålla dem borta dock, efter man köpt 3-4 burkar spray. Enda positiva var att det låg på Walking Street.

This place is only for budget travelers. Stayed 2 nights. I booked fan room for the 1st night but add on A/C the next night due to the heat plus quite a lot of mosquitoes at night when you open the window. Once we close the window, the mosquitoes lessen. With A/C everything is alright. Very convenient place (located right at the walking street, nearby to pattaya & sunrise beach. can also walk to sunset beach. a convenient place to stay.

Helt ok boende på ö med skyhöga boendepriser.

Dyrt boende för väldigt lite som alla andra hotel och hostel på Koh Lipe under högsäsong. Typisk thaistyle. Småtrasigt, utan ac (gick att betala extra för ac) nästan oanvändbar dusch pga obefintligt vattentryck, ingen frukost, ingen städning alls för 370 svenska kronor natten. Med AC hamnade priset på över 500kr/natt. Då var detta ändå de mest prisvärda boende vi hittade på ön. För ca 150 kr natten hade jag absolut rekommenderat Baan Kasirin då det ligger bra till, har trevlig personal och mysig utemiljö, men priserna på ön under högsäsong är helt orimliga.

Budgethotell på walking street

Personalen här är verkligen jättegulliga! Rummen är små och slitna och toaletten liten samt att duschen inte är separat utan du duschar direkt på toagolvet. Fogar och sånt är smutsiga samt att rummet inte är det renaste vi mött, vi blev dock erbjudna att byta rum men vad vi kunde se så såg dom andra inte bättre ut. Standarden på Lipe verkar rätt låg i övrigt och för priset var det värt. Bodde här i 4 nätter. Det som är minus är att dom inte har safety box på rummen. Ta med insektsspray! Vi var inte så mycket på rummet ändå och allt ligger väldigt nära, trots att hotellet är mitt på walking street så var det lugnt på nätterna och då är det väldigt lyhört här!

The room was not bad and the bed pretty comfy but the bathroom wasn't clean and it absolutely stunk of drains, egg! When we mentioned about the smell being absolutely horrendous it seems that this was s problem with two of the rooms...obviously ours. Not happy as it made us quiet sick. They should not put people in stinky problem rooms. Over priced because of this problem.

Abysmal hotel, dangerous black mold, rude staff.

Do not stay here! So we stayed here for four nights, as it was already prepaid and booked on hotels.com. We were given room 2 at the hotel. Initially the air conditioning was on, but then it stopped working. We asked the skinny, young man who runs the front desk and he said he could turn it back on for 500 baht a night, which we declined. We entered the bathroom and there was a two foot by two foot area on the ceiling covered with black mold. The smell at first was nonexistent because they leave the doors open during the day when nobody is checked in. After our first shower and keeping the doors closed, the stench of the room became unbearable. There were several times we walked into the bathroom and almost vomited from the smell. It kept getting worse, even with the windows opened and the fan on. I informed him of the smell, and he said that all rooms are like this. He stated it was the sewers; no, it was clearly a musty, strong mold smell. I asked for a new room, he said not until tomorrow. The next day he got me a room, but I asked to see it first in case it was worse. He walked me back and informed me that "If you want a perfect room, you will have to pay 6000 baht per night elsewhere." Guess what? This room had a huge mold patch on the ceiling as well. The room smelled like mold. Do not stay here. They should be closed down for health reasons. The staff is rude, the rooms are filthy, and value money over health and sanitation.
