This place is misleading and poorly maintained. It looks nothing like the photos shown on Expedia. I specifically booked a non-smoking room, but it was clearly a smoking room. The smell was overwhelming—so strong that all of my clothes and belongings ended up smelling like smoke after just one night. Cleanliness was a serious issue. There was visible dust on the chair and even trash left under it, which made it obvious the room hadn’t been properly cleaned. The bedsheets didn’t feel fresh and seemed reused, which was honestly unacceptable. Basic amenities were also missing—there was no soap provided, and the shower gel dispenser on the wall was completely empty. I understand this was a budget stay, but this experience went far beyond what should be acceptable at any price point. This is essentially a motel being advertised as something much better. I take responsibility for choosing this place, but I’m leaving this review so others can avoid the same mistake.

Staff was amazing, very attentive! The hotel was just reopening so a few things weren’t quite finished but the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners and staff was exceptional. Comfortable beds, clean rooms and relaxing hot tub.

​Disappointing experience – Facilities closed without notice ​I planned a specific "wellness retreat" weekend, choosing this hotel specifically for the indoor pool and sauna facilities to complement my trip to the Saratoga Spa State Park. Unfortunately, the entire experience was a major disappointment. ​The Main Issues: ​Lack of Communication: All wellness facilities (pool, sauna) and the on-site restaurant were closed for renovation. Neither the hotel website nor Expedia (where I booked) provided any notice of these closures. Having no access to the amenities I specifically paid for was incredibly frustrating. ​Room Quality: The room was clearly mid-renovation; the smell of fresh paint was overwhelming and "stunk" up the space. To make matters worse, the plumbing in the sink was not functioning properly. ​Location & Dining: Because the hotel restaurant was closed and a nearby dining option had relocated, we had to drive everywhere. Had I known the hotel was effectively a construction zone, I would have booked a stay in downtown Saratoga to at least enjoy the walkability. ​Verdict: ​I understand that renovations are necessary, but the complete lack of transparency regarding closed amenities is unacceptable. Between the non-functional plumbing and the strong chemical odors, this was far from the relaxing getaway I had envisioned. I cannot recommend staying here until the work is fully completed and management improves their communication with guests.

Did not stay long enough to actually see the staff but I did see what they offered for the complimentary breakfast. Waffles with 1 waffle maker, so good luck waiting to make yours. Cereal dispensers, and that was all.

The motel was fairly empty, which is never a good sign around Christmas time. The place was clean and comfortable. However, it was thin on amenities. We were told that hot tub was broken at check in and would not be operable. The one reason we picked it so we could hang in tub. The shower head is a paradox—head is size of a dinner plate yet it produced smallest amount of water. Not sure how possible. The price was low so what did expect. With some love and care, this motel could sparkle.

The initial room that we checked in into was very dirty with a refrigerator that still had leftover food in it. The room also had a very disgusting smell that signified the room has not been cleaned properly. Breakfast had minimal food, and every single time I went to breakfast, I was monitored over by the staff of how much food I was taking. There were only two towels provided and no toiletries. The pool was not heated at all.And the hot top was barely warm and did not turn on after pressing the button.
