An absolute dream location – surrounded by nature in Madeira. Beautiful, almost apartment-like accommodation with great attention to detail. Fantastic hosts with their own wine. Definitely highly recommended if you are looking for something small but exquisite!

What a fantastic place. If you are looking for a special spot in Madeira to call home for a few nights, this is it. Marco and Maria were incredibly gracious and accommodating hosts and the food they cook is delicious! The location is also superb, with stunning views and a very private feeling. The amenities are also top notch (we loved the cliffside infinity pool and sauna!!). You will leave feeling rejuvenated and wanting to come back for more! Highly recommended

Upon entering the property we were greeted warmly by our hosts Marco and Maria with a glass of their finest wine. We never stayed in a working vineyard and were enamored by the attention to detail in the Villas and how much privacy we were able to enjoy. We had the best table in the house as we were able too cook our own meals and really enjoyed the fresh bread delivery every a.m. The views, pool and location to the mountains and Sea were convenient for all the hiking we could handle. Lastly the dinner we were served on Wednesday nights, make worth checking in for the week. The wine was fantastic and we cannot say enough about Terrabona Nature Wellness retreat, you just have to experience it for yourselves.. Sauod!

We recently stayed here in late October 2023 for five nights (Sunday-Friday) and had a wonderful time. This is a very special place. If you really want to immerse yourself in the nature of Madeira, Terrabonna will not disappoint. Marco and Maria and their staff (Emmanuel is great!) are terrific hosts. Their love for what they do comes through in everything here…the luxurious eco-conscious approach, the little touches and their care of their guests. We especially enjoyed the hosted-dinner…wish they offered more (perhaps two a week?). The villas are comfortable and very private. The scenery is magical. You do need a car and the final drive into the location takes getting used to (we arrived in the dark and it was raining hard so that made it more challenging)…but so worth it. Excellent white wines too! I recommend this to anyone considering a trip to Madeira, who wants to disconnect from city life and recharge in the gorgeous mountains on this vineyard.

We recently enjoyed six wonderful nights at Terrabona Nature & Vineyards in Madeira. Nestled in the heart of Laurissilva Forest, this secluded villa offers a paradise-like atmosphere. The winding roads leading to it are a thrilling experience for driving enthusiasts. The villa boasts a comfortable and nature-inspired design, with stunning views from our room. The attention to detail and thoughtful amenities were commendable. Daily breakfast replenishments and fresh bread deliveries added to the charm. Terrabona's heart lies in its vineyards and wines. We had the privilege of joining Marco, Maria, and other guests for dinner and wine tastings. The cuisine was exceptional, and the family-like atmosphere made for delightful evenings. The villa we stayed in was impeccably stylish and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, plus delightful extra touches that elevated our experience. From a selection of pillows to cater to personal preferences, to a portable Wi-Fi speaker perfect for use indoors or down by the pool, and natural oils that made every bath feel like a spa experience, no detail was overlooked. The infinity pool and sauna were pure indulgence, providing the perfect way to unwind at the end of each day. We were fortunate to enjoy these amenities privately every time, which made the experience feel even more special. The peace and quiet of the surroundings ensured restful, rejuvenating sleep, and it often felt as though we had the entire place to ourselves. Maria and Marco were outstanding hosts, balancing easy communication with a warm, welcoming touch that made us feel instantly at home. I loved everything about Terrabona - it far exceeded my expectations. I loved the dinner & wine with the owners & the guests & hearijg all.about the wine. There is a maximum of 6 guests at the property at any time so it was like a small dinner with friends. I LOVED the architecture of the villa and how everything was laid out. One of my favorite things was waiting for my fresh bread at 8.30 - such a lovely experience to have it delivered to my door. Having breakfast with that view...amazing. I also did not expect so much food to be provided - it was wonderful to have the fresh fruit, ham and cheeses and of course the caramel & honey & jams. I love good nafural yogurt so Maria's homemade one was amazing! It was lovely to have a few supplies like pasta and some ingredients to make and simple meal. I ended up not using them but it was a great idea just in case. I loved the big outside "beanbag' sofa - I don't know what you call it but it was wonderful for my sore back to lie on it and relax....especially at night to watch the stars. I even tried the beautiful pool, even though it was a bit chilly. The sauna afterwards was also lovely and the big window inside was extra special. Emaunual & Nivala were so kind and friendly as hosts. Maria & Marco have thought of every small detail to make staying at Terrabona a fabulous experience. Within a short distance are some great walks/hikes and restaurants and a small shop. I hope to visit again soon.

Words cannot describe the amazing experience we’ve had. The winery/resort is situated in a beautiful valley with views of the mountains and sea. Marco and Maria were wonderful hosts and went above and beyond to make sure that we are comfortable and happy. Their attention to details is remarkable and seen throughout the winery and accommodations. The accommodations were very comfortable and tastefully decorated with everything we needed. If you’re planning a visit to Madeira, which I highly recommend, I also highly recommend you to stay here. You are guaranteed a wonderful time.

Das gesamte Areal ist in tadellosem Zustand und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Unsere Villa war großzügig gestaltet und sehr gepflegt. Während des Aufenthalts wurden die Zutaten für das Frühstück immer wieder im Kühlschrank aufgefüllt und die Villa sehr schön hergerichtet, sodass wir keinerlei Aufwand hatten und uns ganz auf den Urlaub konzentrieren konnten. Auch das Abendessen mit Weinbegleitung war sehr gut! Die Gastgeber und Angestellten sind alle sehr freundlich und herzlich. Die Lage im Norden mitten in den begrünten Bergen mit Bachrauschen in phänomenal!

Pour notre fin de séjour à Madère, nous avons choisi le nord de l'île et la magnifique propriété de Marco et Maria. Tout etait parfait: le cadre, la villa, les matériaux utilisés, le jardin des thés, le petit-déjeuner...Tout est fait pour qu'on profite un maximum de nos vacances. Luxuriöse Traum-Location im Weinberg mit Meerblick

Wer eine außergewöhnliche Location sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Sehr nette Gastgeber, die einem alles rund um die Villas und die weiteren Annehmlichkeiten hilfsbereit erklären. Die Villa ist traumhaft, fantastischer Blick, extreme Ruhe, ein Bach rauscht im Tal zwischen den beiden Bergen, toller Pool und Sauna mit wunderbarem Blick. Jedes hast ist sehr schön eingerichtet und an jedes Detail wurde gedacht. Der angebotene Service ist erstklassig. Jeder der Ruhe und ein exklusives Ambiente sucht, ist hier genau richtig!
