Pousada Portas da Amazônia was a nice experience in the historical area of São Luís. It was great to stay here and see the historical part of the city. The food served was good and the pousada had a lot of historical details. There are a lot of options within walking distance to eat, shop, and other activities. We loved seeing the history from the city firsthand.

The property has a lot potential however their do need to better some important items,the breakfast is very poor and their need to upgrade where flies won’t be all over the food ,also because the heat and flies the place needs fans , other then that when we went there was under construction so is normal not to be everything do way we expect but stuffs was very friendly and like I mention when the place is completed reformed is very unique . This is a good criticism ❤️

My Niece and I only stayed here 1 night, old saying, "you pays your money, you takes your choice, pictures make it look grand, maybe many years ago! as for staff speaking French/English etc etc, they must have all been off. Put in a wash to be done, had to ask 4 times when it would be ready, as we were checking out, came back WET, and found out later that Traveling towel was missing. If you want cheap local. this is for you.

O quarto [9] nao tem janela a porta era de vidro; mas se aberta acabava com a privacidade. Tinham lampadas queimadas no quarto e banheiro. O servico de quarto parece que nem aconteceu, dobrou o lencol [não estendeu] e recolheu o lixo. O quarto é grande e a tv é muito pequena.

A pousada está em uma área muito deserta e perigosa. Parece um local que está abandonado . Não há manutenção alguma em suas dependências. A recepção é péssima. O café da manhã é fraco com poucas opções.

O quarto e as instalações são uma experiência a parte sendo um verdadeiro mergulho na história. O serviço de toda a equipe e o café da manhã foram ótimo e não tivemos o que reclamar. Uma sugestão: adicionar o uso de "bailarinas" no ambiente do café da manhã para espantar possiveis insetos.

Local ok para uma ou duas noites. Quarto amplo, com ar-condicionado, banheiro privativo e grande. Café da manhã ok, com algumas variedades. Atendentes simpáticos. Porém trata-se de um casarão antigo, que mantém toda a sua estrutura inicial e histórica. Mas é bem arejado, não tem cheiro forte de coisa antiga.

Es básico de poca amabilidad

El hotel es un hotel bonito antiguo bonita decoración pero el personal que lo atiende es poco amable parece que les cuesta mucho dar un servicio ! El desayuno es básico y cuando ya se terminaron las cosas no pusieron nuevamente nada !

Superbe endroit

Tres bien grande chambre avec fridge, trés bon petit déjeuner, trés bon emplacement, clim un peu bruyante un ventilateur serait mieux. La moustiquaire est une plaisanterie ou alors c'est un rideau style baldaquin, inutile car il y a des moustiques, à améliorer urgemment! L'endroit dans une vieille maison coloniale est superbe.

Não gostei, não retorno, muito ruim

Estava um pouco suja, lençóis e toalhas aparentemente já utilizados. Toalhas pedi outra, pois a que estava no quarto estava com várias manchas, de novo, aparentemente sujas. Sobre a cama, conforto básico, colchão muito mole. O quarto de frente para a rua, muito barulhento, mesmo que não passe carro por ser área de tombo, uma zona na rua TV não ligou, chamei o profissional e sequer conseguiu ajudar. Muitas escadas para subir e descer com malas. Enfim, muita propaganda, foros muito diferentes do real.
