Great staff, very helpful and extremely convenient for a short stay as it is closes to everything and good transport connections. With only a one night stay we were able to see everything we wanted including a sea trip to the caldera.

Great value and location

Great location - 10 minute walk to bus station, shops, restaurants and Caldera views. A great base for exploring this beautiful island. We were 2 couples staying in a 2 bed apartment - small but spotlessly clean, well equipped with very comfortable beds. Lovely toiletries provided and the fridge was restocked daily with juice and croissants. The staff were all lovely and very helpful - thank you for a lovely holiday.

A hidden gem in Santorini

A hidden gem in Santorini! Sissy was very welcoming from the start, the staff so friendly and so efficient! And the aparthotel was very comfy, big shower, functional kitchen with dining table, a balcony, etc. They clean everything spotlessly every day as if you would check in for the first time. Highly, highly recommended!

convenient, clean but noisy hotel

We booked a two-bedroom suite at reasonable price. Good location, easy to go to the center of Fira. Cozy, clean, confortable beds. The only thing disturbing us is the noice. The hotel is by the roadside of a major road in Fira. In the midnight, some crazy drivers drove cars aggressively and it was noisy. I was bothered on the second night until 2 am. If you are sensitive to the noice, then avoid the rooms facing the road.

ここに2泊しました。中心地からは徒歩で10分ほど離れていますが、そんなに遠いとは感じませんでした。もし、空港からバスで来ても、バスステーションから10分歩けば辿り着けます！ （ちょっと道ガタガタだけどね。） そして、ホテルですが、ベッドもふかふかで、お部屋もラブリー。プールもあるので、ホテルでもゆっくりくつろげました。冷蔵庫の中にマフィンとか水などが入っているのですが、全部無料だそうで、次の日も新しい水やオレンジジュースが追加されてました。とてもありがたい。そして、キッチンも付いているので、近くのスーパーで買い出しすれば、食事も作れました。日本人にはユーロは高いので、節約したい人にはとても良い◎あと、お部屋にオリーブ関連のアメニティもあって、とても良かったです。最後に…フロントの方がとても優しくて、色々気にかけてくれます。そんな訳で、とても良い滞在先でした♪

Great place to stay for a family of 4

This hotel was a wonderful surprise. We were looking for a basic (nothing fancy) hotel for our family of 4 for one night on Santorini, and chose the Villa Rose for the reasonable price and proximity to Thira. We travel a lot and have stayed in a lot of hotels, and I can honestly say I don't think I have ever encountered a friendlier or more helpful staff than that of the Villa Rose. They were very accommodating on the phone when we had to clear up a mistake on our reservation, they gave us a free shuttle to/from the port, they set us up with cake and coffee on the patio when we were waiting for reception or the shuttle, they gave us a ton of very helpful advice on what to see / where to eat / how to get around, and they set us up with all kinds of maps and directions. Our room was a very good sized suite with a double bed in one room and two twin beds in the other for the kids. It was very clean and comfortable, and the room had everything we could need - wifi, a/c, extra pillows and blankets, a kitchenette, and a fridge stocked with complimentary snacks. There wasn't much to the swimming pool or the view, so if you are looking for a resort atmosphere this probably isn't the place, but for a good serviceable base location from which to explore the island, this hotel is perfect.

fabulous place to stay

This a lovely and very special place to stay. The level of hospitality and quality of service is excellent, and the whole place is absolutely spotless. We had a lovely breakfast from the provisions that were in our fridge each day and the complimentary carafe of village wine was a very welcome touch. The family were extremely welcoming and very helpful. Even when we used the little pool and jacuzzi outside we were offered drinks and were provided with a clean towel to use. The whole place was relaxed and the atmosphere friendly. We were able to walk in to town from the hotel and use the local buses which are very regular and take you anywhere on the island. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Pequeño apthotel familiar,nuevo,excelente atención

Muy buena opción calidad-precio para alojarse en Fira, la capital de Santorini. Es un apartahotel (habitaciones con cocina y terraza) familiar, atendido por Rosa y su hija, siempre amables y atentas con los huéspedes. (Un ejemplo: se ofrecen a hacer gratis los transfers al puerto o aeropuerto, pedidla que os recoja a la llegada). Habitaciones amplias, nuevas y limpias, estupendas para su precio. Excelente experiencia para visitar la maravillosa isla de Santorini (se necesita coche; Rosa trabaja con una agencia que alquila a precios muy económicos). El único "pero": el apartahotel está en la carretera de acceso a Fira, con lo cual la ubicación y las vistas no son las ideales (si no el precio sería mucho mayor), aunque está solo a 10 minutos andando de la plaza central de Fira. Un último consejo: evitad visitar la isla en Julio-Agosto, cuando está masificada. Primavera u otoño son las temporadas ideales para disfrutar de la belleza y tranquilidad de Santorini, sin calor ni frío, y con todo mucho más barato.

Very nice

Very hospitable staff - helped us organise a hire car and provided transport to and from the airport and a few snacks and drinks at no extra cost. Would stay here again. Villa Rose is about a 10-minute walk from the centre of the main town of Fira and there is a small car parking area outside. The hotel also has a small swimming pool and outside seating area for each room, plus a general one near reception.

Just perfect!

Villa Rose is a small and beautiful hotel near Fira centre. Rooms are clean and nice. FIra centre and bus station is in walking distance from hotel. Hotel owner Maria is the most wonderful person.

wonderful hotel, great location

We really enjoyed this hotel--very welcoming, little kitchenette, and *not* on the cliffs (very important as we have a 9 year old). It was a brief walk (5 min? or 10 as they say) into town, that part is on a main road and so not very pretty, but as we did not want to be on cliffs for us it was perfect. Grocery near by, convenient to everything. The view from the room is not fancy (not over the water). The family who runs it is very friendly, very helpful, very unintrusive, it made things very easy and made it easier for us to just have a good time. We were in about 8 hotels this summer and this one was the easiest to deal with....We highly recommend it and will go there again if we go back to Santorini.

I would defintely stay in this hotel again, if I m back in Santorini.

Unexpectedly, the owner upgraded our apartment to a bigger apartment, filled the fridge with food for us, & fetch us from the airport to the hotel on arrival and back to the airport on the day of departure. It appeared that the hotel has been recently renovated. The facilities and equipment were in good condition. Even though we only stayed for 2 nights, the room they cleaned the room and made the beds on the 2nd day. The hotel is conveniently located located near the bus stop, a supermart, several cafes and a few restaurants.
