We had a lovely stay at the Hermes Hotel. Chris at the front desk was particularly helpful and friendly. He gave us a list of restaurant recommendations and helped us arrange transfers from the ferry and then to the airport. The breakfast was an impressive buffet and the pool was lovely though it was competitive to get a spot in the shade! Thanks for the stay!

Exceptional Stay at Hermes Hotel – A True Gem in Kamari! We have just returned from a fabulous week at Hermes Hotel, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly. Because it’s a smaller hotel, it has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere where the staff have genuine time to devote to their guests—everyone was consistently friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Our room was immaculate, comfortable, and beautifully maintained throughout our stay. A special Thankyou to Albina for her care and attention when we had the very slightest issue. The pool area is stunning—thoughtfully designed, impeccably landscaped, and fitted with high-quality, comfortable furniture that makes relaxing easy. The food was another huge highlight: the buffet breakfast is honestly one of the best we’ve ever experienced, and the à la carte dishes and drinks served at the restaurant were top quality and fantastic value. Location-wise, it’s ideal. It was a easy 5-to-10-minute stroll to the football ground for the local bus stop, which made exploring Fira and Oia effortless. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend Hermes Hotel to anyone visiting Santorini!

A lovely traditional Greek Hotel, lovely gardens and very clean large pool and a smaller one with jets. Our room was a perfect double with a small balcony a little back from the pool area. Staff couldn't be more helpful and the breakfast was great. Lots of fresh fruit, greek yoghurt, pastries and eggs, omelette, sausages and roasted veg. Lots of bread, cheeses and meats too. Free pool towels and a good bar. 5 mins walk to the main beach and boulevard with lots of restaurants and shops. Beach is shingle and pebble, smaller shingle further towards the mountain at the other end. Kamari is right next to the airport so planes fly over the beach and the hotel quite low for take off or landing but not too frequent when we were there and really not that off off putting as lasts only a few seconds and can be hours of gaps. Will be the same wherever you are in Kamari.

We enjoyed everything at the Hermes Hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make us “feel at home.” It is set in a lovely area and we will be coming back. There’s plenty of choice for breakfast, the bar staff are brilliant and very accommodating.

Beautiful hotel space

Variety in the breakfast buffet. Really healthy food selection. Staff were lovely, very courteous. Housekeeping always made swans out of the towel everyday, they cleaned. The grounds are well kept and it was so comfortable hanging out at the hotel.
