Cool spot, close to the beach,will be pressed by many people to try their restaurants outside, can’t bring guests but overall it’s a calm spot. cool art all around the area too. very instagram photo dump worthy if you’re into that.

I would have loved to give a good review to this hotel just because the staff were very friendly and nice to interact with. Unfortunately, the room was not at all as pictured. It was in poor condition, very small, and had no bathroom door which made for a very uncomfortable stay. Additionally, the shower didn’t drain and there weren’t sufficient outlets. We asked ahead if there was a crib available for us to use, and even called to confirm, but the crib provided was broken and not safe. There was no resolution on that issue and we had to drive to Santo Domingo to purchase a mattress to add to the crib in order to feel comfortable with our son sleeping there.

In an area that can be chaotic, this hotel is a peaceful oasis that is suitable for families. They have a no outside guest policy so if you are looking for a more family friendly place to stay then this is a good choice. Breakfast is included and it's very good. The service at the front desk, housekeeping and in the restaurant were all impressive. I would stay here again if I come back to this area.

The staff was very courteous. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and served well. The beach is only a short walk and is very clean without seaweed. the decor of the hotel is most interesting with Caribbean antiques.

It was perfect, the hotel itself has a strong personality with beautiful local paintings all over … very cosy atmosphere, nice restaurant and perfect location. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back here one day.
