Absolutely loved my stay at Aston Suites in Santo Domingo. From the moment I arrived I felt safe, comfortable, and truly cared for. The property is secure with armed guards on duty at night which gave me peace of mind the entire trip. They also offer in-house parking which made everything super convenient. What really stood out was the location. There are so many great restaurants within walking distance and most major attractions are just a quick 10 minute Uber ride away. Whether you’re here to explore the city or just relax it’s the perfect spot. The staff were all kind and welcoming but Sebastian, the bellboy, truly went above and beyond. He made sure I had everything I needed and treated me like family. If you’re visiting from the US and want to feel safe, comfortable, and well taken care of, Aston Suites is the place to be. Highly recommend.

Me hospedé recientemente en el Aston Hotel y, aunque la experiencia general fue aceptable, hubo varios aspectos decepcionantes que no se corresponden con el precio. Al llegar, no había toalla en el baño, lo cual fue un mal comienzo. Además, el hotel no cuenta con restaurante, por lo que pedí comida por delivery. Lamentablemente, el personal se negó a recibir el pedido, a pesar de que les llamé desde la habitación y les pedí apoyo. Fue uno de los empleados del pasillo quien finalmente accedió, pero después de mucha insistencia. Considero que, como huésped frecuente de Expedia, lo mínimo que esperaba era un mejor servicio, especialmente si no hay opciones de comida dentro del hotel. El precio fue alto en comparación con lo que realmente ofrecen. Por esos motivos, no volvería a hospedarme en este lugar ni lo recomendaría.

The place is beautiful! Top roof has a gorgeous pool and city view! Staff super pleasant and courteous. There are 3 very nice restaurants right around the corner. The burger's one I tried was excellent! There is also a mini market a block down very convenient that also serves light food. There are two things I would like to mention in case it helps. The hotel is not close to the airport as Expedia made it look for me. It is about 40 minutes away. Be ready to pay 40 USD for one way. There is also no city life in the area. You would need to take taxi to downtown SD if you are looking for that. It is about 15 mins. The hotel itself is new, very clean and very nice!

I travel to the DR alot. This was the first time that I didn't feel safe and they totally oversold the property in their ad. Although my Do NoT Disturb Light was on, someone knocked on my door each day. When I'd ask, who was there, noone would respond. There was no adjoining restaurant to eat as described. The front desk said it should be open in a few weeks. You either have to walk to find an eatery or get a taxi to a supermarket. There were no face/wash cloths (I had to gondown to the desk and ask twice) and considering that you have to insert a key card for the electricity to work in the unit, the front desk should review those kinds of details with the guest at check in. They just missed the mark in so many ways.

The location, and the number of high quality restaurants within walking distance. The suite was very nice with a really large terrace. The only reason I’m not go5 stars is because the mattress was a too hard, Everything else was well done.
