I stayed here 10 days and loved it.
Very clean place with good breakfast. You choose the breakfast time and they are very flexible. There's a fridge, microwave and "plug-in pan" on the big shared balcony, as well as some seats and tables and a hammock, really nice for chilling out. The balcony to my own room was much smaller, but still nice to open up the door wide for fresh air and putting clothes out to dry. The owners also run a rafting business, and fitted a tour in for me at short notice. Another day they organised a massage therapist to come to the hostel for me - again with just a few hours notice. They also helped me book my PCR test and some other things I needed help with - always with a smile and good conversation. A lot more service than I would expect from a hostel.
Shops are right around the corner, and some restaurants within 1-2 km. I spend most of my days walking/hiking around the area, which is absolutely stunning. A lot of sugarcane farms and I saw some big cat tracks.
Because of the rafting business, it can sometimes be a little loud for a few minutes when they set off in the morning, but it's peaceful the rest of the day.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
