"The room had a whole bunch of bugs crawling around the entire time. The Wi-Fi does not work and I was charged an additional $37 just to get my room key when I already paid 135"
"Amazing new, much needed location, here in Santa Cruz. I felt as if I was at a San Diego Resort. The rooms were amazing, decor was was cohesive with the Spanish flair and elegance of the lobby. Bedding was amazing. No cut corners. Will definitely go back."
"The location was great & the staff was helpful but the property itself wasn’t well-maintained & the cleanliness was definitely not up to par. There was areas in the room that had rotting wood & multiple areas that needed to retracted. There was mold on the shower curtain, the floor hadn’t been swept & there were cockroaches in the bathroom. For how much we paid for this room I was definitely expecting a much better experience — not sure that I’d feel comfortable returning to this location."
"Wonderful beach view from our balcony. Room was very clean and spacious. Nice to have the option of ordering breakfast brought to our room, although the food was mediocre."
"This place is was near by boardwalk but not as close to walk up and down and then back . You will be tired ! The pool and spa wasn’t available , not bad but not a
Return visit for us . Property states Expedia doesn’t describe as is they were right !"
"Absolutely loved this hotel. It is set in the mountains of Santa Cruz and is beautiful. We checked in late in the evening and because we were only staying one night we were given complementary parking. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was amazing. In the morning, I had lost one of my rings in the parking lot. I called the next day and it had been found and turned in. They packed it up and mailed it to me. Next time I hope to stay a couple of days to really enjoy the entire area. I highly recommend. "
