"A great place to stay in the Santa Cruz mountains. A little tricky to find and get to with winding mountain roads and no signs but that is part of getting away from everything and hanging with the chicks and ducks and geese all a-clucking. Fully stocked bar and kitchen made it so easy to just have fun. The dozens of huge koi fish will practically climb out of the pond when you start feeding them, and the chickens seemed to like Fritos. "The room was definitely clean smelled a lot like cleaner. There is a lot of steps to get the room. We were luckily able to get the last parking spot. I was a little sadden to see that the conditioner was out and the shower door was missing the knob to open it from the inside. I did enjoy seeing all the pets at the hotel."
"I love the 1 room with 2 bedrooms since my oldest kid wants to have his own room and with balcony. The property is clean and has a good parking area. I will go back again."
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Santa Cruz by IHG
8/10 Good
"Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfy and the amount of outlets was super helpful! The rubber seal on the shower door wasn't fitted properly so there was a lot of water on the floor after every shower.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a bit crowded the days we were there but had a lot of good options. Parking was convenient but did cost $20/day. Overall lovely stay!"
