"Nice grounds but you have to bring your own coffee and coffee filters if you want coffee in the morning. Wasn’t aware of that and would have liked to relax in the morning while having a cup in the patio area."

"When we first arrived at the hotel and were given our room key, we opened the door, and it looked like a bunch of drugged out people had just left. Dirty sheets were all over the bed and floor; used towels; beer cans strewn everywhere; and the occasional condom. It was disgusting. I actually started looking for another hotel then and there, but hotels totally gauge you if you’re trying to get a room on the same night you’re calling. So, I went back to the front desk at this one, told them what I walked into, and insisted on a clean room (even though at this point I didn’t trust that anything would be remotely clean or sanitary here.) The guy behind the counter did give us another room, and it was ok enough, but there were still little stains on some of the towels, etc. I could go on, but you get the point. Let’s just say that we will NEVER book a room here again. The two guys behind the front desk did their best to apologize for a really bad situation, and I realize that they weren’t the owners. They were truly trying to do the best they could with a really run down hotel. It can be hard to earn a living; I get it. But this property really crossed the line for me. "
"Convenient location to Santa Cruz boardwalk. Property looks almost brand new. Word of caution if you have a large truck or SUV that their parking for large vehicles is limited to only one of their lots and the stalls in that lot can be tight."
"Awesome location to beach, boardwalk, shopping, restaurants. Awesome beautiful ocean view room with a balcony & patio. Pretty grounds. Checked in early @ 12 for $35 more. Parking is an affordable $35 a night! Couldn’t find any front desk employees in the morning of check out. Finally gave up & left @ 10:30. Was unable to get a receipt. "
