"The property is quite dated, but clean and comfortable. The televisions do not have access to anything but TV channels and pay-per-view movies (no Netflix, Prime, YouTube, etc.) and no means to connect personal devices to TVs. Breakfast is extremely basic - just scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes - and not worth the $15 per person charged."

"The location is ideal if you are attending an event at the convention center. The staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the WiFi didn’t work. Our room was noisy due to street noise and was out dated. Also, the hallway outside our room had broken ceiling tiles and was rundown."

"Very nice and clean pool and the breakfast was very nice. Nice people working at the desk and kitchen area."

"Staff was great and super friendly. My complaints are that the room was not super clean. The bathroom sink was filthy, and you could see water stains on the shower from previous use. A lot of the walls had noticeable paint chips and the bed frames were extremely worn out and pealing. Also, although the elevator says you cannot use it without a keycard 99% of the time you could go in and press a button without scanning the card and it would work. From a safety standpoint I wasn’t a fan of that. As far as location this hotel is very central to downtown and it was $35 a day to park in the garage which was cheaper and safer that areas near by I felt."

"They tacked a $25 amenities fee and parking was $25 a night when the listing didn’t indicate that was extra. The bar was also closed by 9pm. Kind of disappointing. Stumptown ‘view’ has lots of road noise and trolly noise. "

"There were ants all over, and I even woke up to finding them in my bed. I checked out as early as I could because I was so uncomfortable. Shuttle driver was great though and the van was the cleanest part of my stay…"

"Clean room"

"I was underwhelmed with this hotel. It is under construction right now, so the lobby layout is confusing and feels very cramped. Our room layout was fine and it was clean, but the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. The bathroom door was a pocket door that did not go all the way to ground, thus providing very little privacy. The location is great, but this was billed as one of the nicest hotels in Portland and overall felt very mid-range. "
