Staff was very helpful and friendly, shower drains very slow, air conditioning works great.
Walking distance to Mexican border. A lot of noice from the street.
This is one of the cleanest nicest rooms. I’ve stayed in for a long time. My only objection was that the subway runs until early morning and blows, whistles and rings bells every 5 to 10 minutes. So if you can’t overcome the noise, this is not the place for you.
The location is awesome,I had been there several times, an excellent customer service, easy parking ,very clean rooms, sadly , they stop providing the morning coffee,I really missed it .
The staff is attentive, friendly, well located, they could only fix the elevator because it becomes very uncomfortable and tiring to carry suitcases up to a third floor
Was a clean and well maintained location. The staff was helpful and quick to help with anything you may need. There are several stores nearby for shopping and restaurants nearby as well. Walking distance to the boarder. Definitely a place I will choose in my next visit.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
The hotel is located on a nice place of the city. The staff was very friendly and the AC worked perfectly. The issues we dealt with was that the wifi was not working (we couldn't connect any device) and the bathroom door will slide open unless you place an item to hold it still.
The staff is awesome, excellent communication skills, location, easy access to the main freeways , clean condition ,the wifi excellent, the shops, restaurants are nearby. I highly recommend this place for everyone.😀
I’ve been close to noisy areas but just be warned the trolley close by is noisy. It was a beautiful room. Clean and homey. Comfortable bed and safe feeling area. The staff was helpful. I think the noise on the back side was too great to consider the stay nice and to consider staying there again if other options further away from the trolley are available. A few restaurants and shops near by.
This place was a pleasant surprise. I just needed a room for the weekend and this room met all my needs and then some. I guess it underwent a recent renovation. The lobby was nice and clean, the front desk agent was kind and helpful, and the room was great. There were minor annoyances like hearing the trolly as this place is right next to a station stop, and the curtains being too small to properly cover the windows. I would just recommend bringing ear plugs and clips for the curtains. I am definitely marking this place for future stays.
Room was nice and very updated. Clean and very good sized. Only issue I had was the hot water. Just did not get hot enough for my liking and the handle only goes so far. Other than that the room was great. I did also find it weird that the door to the washer and vending machine closed and your door key does not open it. So if you need it you have to use it early.
I like the staff as i stay here frequently while I have college classes in San Diego and i live in Tijuana. Only issue I have is that the water in the shower for room 113 didnt get hot so i had to go to my meeting without taking one.

I would like to take a moment to recognize Yana at the Rodeway Inn for her outstanding customer service.
From the moment I arrived, Yana was welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. She went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and that all of my questions and concerns were addressed. In a world where great customer service can be hard to find, Yana truly stood out.
Her positive attitude, patience, and willingness to help made a stressful situation much easier and left a lasting impression. It is employees like Yana who make guests want to return and recommend a hotel to others.
Thank you, Yana, for your exceptional service, warm hospitality, and dedication to making guests feel valued and appreciated. You are a true asset to the Rodeway Inn team.

We decided to stay here after arriving late at night to Tijuana Airport. It was a 15 minute drive from CBX. The price was so affordable, I was actually a little skeptical because of that, but the place was so quiet and clean. The gentleman that greeted us at check-in was so welcoming and sincere. During check-out the staff was so nice. They offered us coffee & tea. The day was a little gloomy, but they even checked the weather for us. Also, the place is literally is down the street from the San Ysidro border crossing. It says 7 min walk, but it feels more like a 3 min walk. Over all our stay was great and we will definitely stay here again.
I had the pleasure of staying on this property while going to a concert in Chula Vista. I called ahead of time to secure my 2 beds, and had the true pleasure of not only speaking with, but then checking in with the owner/operator. He was nice as could be, and is quite hospitable. I enjoyed speaking with him very much. My room was recently renovated, and had a huge TV in it, as well as a mini fridge. These are smart TVs, and allowed us to connect to our Amazon account to watch a movie. Beds were comfy, and clean. Bathrooms are huge, and possess a really cool heated and lighted submirror that didnt fog up. Really nifty device! Coffee in the morning was also good. The value of this hotel cannot be understated, from amenities to the kindness of the staff, to the superior sense of giving the owner had. I cannot recommend this hotel enough! A true gem, and we for sure will be back!
