Aloha from Hawaii

Owner was very friendly and accommodating. Helped us with seeing wildlife in the surrounding rain forest. He delivered our daily breakfasts with his car…..a short drive from his house to our cabin. Refreshed our sit-in pool during our stay. Upon our request….gave us coffee for the coffee maker. Very friendly owner…..enjoyed chatting about wildlife!

The construction of the property is very poor, bugs in the room, bothroom is 4’ by 5’ very dingy, kids won’t go near the shower, looks like a small shed made of waste wood and very cheap fixtures, water heater is some gadget fixed with taped wires in the shower head, does not work at all. No way it deserves 125$, worth 35$ maybe.

Almost a nightmare

We check-in late since we were traveling from Guanacaste; the manager wait for us until midnight and he was very nice attending us so late. But, when we arrived to the room, was terrible. It has a very strong smell to mood. We tried to sleep but we couldn't. After a couple of hours trying to sleep smelling this terrible mood; we decided to call the manager and ask for another room. He again, was very nice and he offered us another room; which was acceptable. There was a smell to humidity but not as terrible as the other room. In the morning we were starving and wanted some coffee, but the hotel send us out to have breakfast to another location. Then, we must get ready to get outside first. By this point our veins need caffeine and we had to drive about 500 meters to get in a small restaurant ("sodita").
