"During our week long stay at this beautiful property, my family and I had the most enjoyable stay. The owners and the hotel assistant were warm,inviting and very helpful. The food was also amazing. We had daily transportation provided (for a fee) to and from Medellin. The hosts assisted with corresponding with our excursions to get a closer pick up and drop off. "I will start off saying the view was amazing. Nothing else is good. The place is a house that is mismanaged and filthy. It's not a resort. There is garbage and junk all over. See pics. Our room was never cleaned and had dirty sheets. We insisted that they changed the sheets. No restaurant. No parking. We parked at a neighboring property, Gretel.No access to the water. No breakfast although it was supposed to be included"

"The way up the mountain requires a 4x4 vehicle from how steep the hill is. Beautiful views of the mountain range with a view of El Peñol. The attention was amazing with fair prices for the beverages and bottles."

"During our week long stay at this beautiful property, my family and I had the most enjoyable stay. The owners and the hotel assistant were warm,inviting and very helpful. The food was also amazing. We had daily transportation provided (for a fee) to and from Medellin. The hosts assisted with corresponding with our excursions to get a closer pick up and drop off. The communication was always on point and we never felt ignored. I would highly recommend this property not only for the property but the hosts themselves made it hearty. "Large, beautifully designed and maintained property— both landscaping and architecture. Vistas of the water and access to it are excellent. Very clean. Very comfortable. Excellent food and service. Staff was kind and helpful. We did have a plumbing issue in our room. But staff attended to it immediately and fixed it. Proximity to the Piedra del Peñol couldn’t be better. It’s a bit outside Guatape, but readily accessible via Tuk-Tuk. "

"Clean and comfortable hotel in a great location. El Peñol Rock is within walking distance—just be cautious of traffic along the road. Once there, you can access the site via the staircase entrance. We were able to run from the hotel to the rock a couple of times with no issues. If you’re driving, the hotel offers plenty of parking. Guatapé is about 4 kilometers away, or roughly a 5-minute drive. "
