This resort has nothing to do with “Hilton brand” and 5 stars services promoted.
Is just a under average 2 stars resort, and for us was a big scale disappointment.
Two families, 4 adults, no kids, we booked from Pennsylvania US, a 8 nights/ 7 days all inclusive stay during November 2023, thru Expedia, and paid over $ 10,000. Wasted our money. Big time!!!!
Here is why:
1. ROOMS
-our rooms were outdated having major flaws, moldy areas on walls, bad smell during day and night. Shower door not properly sealing the water from pooling on bathroom floor.
The big plus: maid service was flawless.
2. RSTAURANTS ( except main buffet and Dominican restaurant)
- Poor trained servers, poor menu, poor quality food, except Dominican restaurant, where the food and service was very good
- The Menu posted on the TV room app for “a la carte restaurants” was way different than printed restaurants menu provided on site. Confusing on choosing our dinner preferences.
- “Italian restaurant” and “The grill” from our point of view, were rated “Zero stars” for service. Food served was way under average
- At “The grill restaurant” ribeye steak was horrible, dry, no taste, and Pork ribs served were worst ever we tasted
- French restaurant, had a poor maintained or not working AC system,…. Wearing long pants and shirt over 90 F inside, was a huge disconfort for us.
- “Mediterranean restaurant” menu had nothing to do with a Mediteranean food
- At all “a la carte restaurants” table lights were inexistent.
