One restaurant, very little to do on that side of the island. To try to get people to want to stay at the resort they should have a free water taxi three times a day one at 9 and 1 and then return from shore 12 3 and 530 Having to pay 30 round trip when there’s nothing to do at the resort is terrible. Staff was amazing and super friendly.

All the staff are very friendly and helpful. We loved the attention they provided from the moment we arrived until we left the hotel. Ricky, the boat captain, recommended activities, places, and more from the moment he took us to the hotel until he brought us back. He was a very good person.We loved the attention from the lobby staff, as well as the room cleaning staff, security, and bar staff. In fact, all the hotel staff we interacted with were wonderful. We didn't try the food; our reservation was only for lodging. The rooms are excellent in every way. The hotel is a place to relax and forget everything; it's paradise.

Clean rooms and facilities. Great location. Change in management / name of resort was not well communicated which led to some confusion. Overall staff was friendly and helpful, however they initially seemed overwhelmed and struggled to answer questions. During high occupancy breach towels and room towels were difficult to get replenished. Room phones were not working. It seemed like a soft opening with need to work out the kinks. Remote location was a plus, but should be well communicated so that guests can be prepared and aware of costs to travel into town. Option for all inclusive should be communicated in advance for clients booking thru 3rd party such as Expedia

The property is a bit remote however it is so worth it and the staff is awesome. From the time you arrive to the time you leave they make you feel like part of the family. We had a wonderful stay! It is a stunning property. I The will definitely be going back!

9/10 staff members were amazing. The resort really lacked food options. The food they did offer eas very underwhelming. Felt like all i could eat was bar food the whole trip. The location is so seculded it left you with limited options to do much at the resort itself. Deante, ken and celeste really made our stay worth it. Very amazing and generous and understanding people.

If you truly want to get away from it all this is your place to go. It is the 2nd northern most resort from San Pedro. Very quiet, but beautiful. The staff was great.

Very friendly staff and very helpful! Made you feel at home. Breakfast was amazing!! We did not eat dinner there we ate in town. The only thing with this location is that is about an hour and 10 mins away from everything. So if you want to be off the grid this is perfect. Otherwise you have to pay like 90 bucks for one way traffic to town.

Enjoyed my stay the property is a bit further away from everything and the roads are harsh to drive on to get to and from the resort , however I enjoyed the staff and the food and the amenities they had to offer . It would be nice to have a late snack bar option available but it was great !!!!!! The staff made it even better . Jose , Jiannna, Jhousa, Ken and Anthony were amazing !!

This was one of the most beautiful resorts we saw on the whole island but you need to realize how remote it was. We rented golf carts and it took about 1 hr 20 min to get into town and it's a very bumpy road. It is faster by water taxi but they charge $37USD per person and for a family of 4 that is alot. To the south the next restaurant is about 10 minute drive and south it is about 45 minutes. That is also where the nearest store is. The food at the resort is good. We actually loved how secluded it was. It was safe and the kids could have more freedom. It was never crowded at the pool, beach chairs always available and good snorkeling right from the property.

As a Belizean-American who had not been to Belize in almost 20 years, I am very pleased to say I enjoyed my stay at Margaritaville Beach Resort Ambergris Caye. The staff was very warm and welcoming. This was my first time visiting San Pedro and I was here to celebrate my birthday. There weren't many authentic Belizean dishes on the menu but the chef accommodated me and made me a custom Belizean breakfast and a delicious birthday dinner. A drawback was the extensive amount of mosquitos; I could not step out the room without being bitten within seconds. There weren't other dining options around the resort because it is very secluded from the rest of San Pedro. Overall, beautiful property and I would definitely stay again with family.

This resort has been such a great place to retreat away from city night life in San Pedro. We were able to relax our days there and enjoy activities provided at the same time. We went kayaking, bicycling, star gazing, karaoke, crab race, beach swimming and pool swimming in both pool locations. I was also able to do my nails in the spa which was nice and lovely. There were massages provided but I didn’t get the chance to enjoy that. I will next time for sure! The chefs were super welcoming and nice. They introduced themselves to our family and the food was super incredible! The staff were all super sweet and helpful. The suites were super clean, comfortable and relaxing. We will definitely be coming back for another getaway! Thank you Margaritaville for a great time during our stay.

The property was great, the staff, service and food was exceptional. Pool area and drinks were great as well. However, property location is super inconvenient if you're planning on doing more than just stay at the resort because you will be 1-2 hours way from the downtown of San Pedro. When we landed to San Pedro's Airport around noon, two staff members received us there and drove us on a golf car (wich is one of the island main transportation) to their office (that was 2-3 minutes drive). They offer a shuttle boat to the resort but it doesn't leave until 5:00pm which means you will not get to the resort until around 5:30pm - 6:00pm unless you pay for a taxi that cost " $100usd pp" cash. After you're at the resort you can stay there and relax, and enjoy the quietness. According to the staff to enjoy the beach, the best time to go is December and January because of the Sargassum. For me, I didn't like the moody feel of the sand at the beach resort. The resort only offers two shuttle on at 7am from the resort to the downtown and back a 5pm. We rented a golf cart for 1 day to go to Secret Beach without depending on the boat. For the golf cart you, front desk will help you requesting one, FYI the will call for one and someone will bring it from downtown to drop it off at the resort, plan ahead to have it by the morning or at least 1.5hr before the time you need it because is not grab and go. The cost for the golf cart was $55usd for the day plus $30usd for the dropoff.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the overall setting is calm and beautiful. The food options are good, though somewhat limited and a bit expensive. The beds could be more comfortable, and some air conditioning units need maintenance, as they can be noisy when in use.

The property was clean and well-maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only negative was the smell of the seaweed, which the staff did their best to control. Also, the bugs are relentless; the resort sprays daily, but they should spray more often.
