What a great property! We really enjoyed the many common areas, the decorations and design throughout the property and the room. All make this a wonderful location and everyone we met and interacted with were FANTASTIC!!

We really enjoyed this nice small hotel oasis. The staff was very friendly and we loved our little yurt. I would definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to San Pedro. Parking as they say is very limited.

This hotel is the best! Definitely recommend this stunning oasis in the otherwise dusty and scruffy San Pedro de Atacama. The town is fun, but it's wonderful to have this island of luxury to escape back to. The food was amazing, the staff so friendly and helpful and everything in the hotel is beautiful. Couldn't recommend highly enough!!

This is a beautiful retreat in an otherwise hot and dusty town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking is limited so notify the hotel in advance if you need parking.

Ideal Oasis in San Pedro

Great find! An oasis in San Pedro. If you are planning any group excursions to geysers, salt flats, etc, it’s really convenient to be dropped off at your hotel. Easy walk to the town’s main street amenities. Staff are really kind and thoughtful, rooms are comfy and quiet, and the whole place has a friendly, calm vibe. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Place to Stay in the Desert

We looked at far more expensive, all-inclusive accommodations in San Pedro de Atacama before discovering Hotel Desertica. What a find! They truly had everything you need for a relaxing stay in the desert at a very reasonable price. The staff is friendly and professional, the free breakfast was fresh and abundant, and it was great to unwind at the restaurant at night after a long day exploring this incredible part of the world. This was a late-autumn visit, so we did not swim -- but it was lovely to sit by the pool and soak in the sun for a few hours here and there. They are super-well located, just steps to everything you need. Highly recommend!

Outstanding service. Great location in town on the main street with loads of shops, coffee shops and restaurants. Super clean and absolutely beautiful place. Stunning round rooms tastefully decorated in traditional style using natural local materials. Really nice, high quality bed linen, lovely soft towels and bath robe. High quality toiletries. So many little touches and all little details have been thought of that it makes this place to stand out. Fantastic breakfast with a lot of choices. It is served to you and it is beautifully presented. The hotel has a small car park, which I don't think was mentioned anywhere in the hotel facilities. This was the best hotel we stayed in in Chile and the highlight of our trip! And we did stay in a few 5 star hotels during our 3 weeks trip. I wish I could have stayed longer. I can not recommend it highly enough!

This is a hidden gem in San Pedro de Atacama. Directly on the main strip, and close to tour companies, restaurants and shopping. The property is centrally located but also wonderfully quiet, with each room being a distinct and beautifully set up building. The food at the hotel rivals anything in town, and the staff are all universally hospitable and pleasant. Would recommend this to anyone visiting San Pedro.

Stay here! Perfect in every way.

Absolutely perfect. Can’t recommend it enough. It’s beautiful and the staff are so helpful and kind. Plus it may not seem important yet, but you’ll thank me — nearly every tour will drop you right outside this hotel at the end of each long, tiring day. Great location at one end of the Main Street (Caracoles.)

Great property

Beautiful property and service was top notch. Each room is a stand alone unit. Was able to park my car on site. When we left early to see the geysers, the hotel provided a very nice boxed breakfast. One thing to note is that the pool is not heated so not usable in the colder months. On-site restaurant for days when we didn’t feel like leaving the property for dinner

It was an amazing experience with incredibly helpful staff and wonderful facilities. It’s location is right in the heart of the action and is the location of choice for tour droop off. Great breakfast although many tours start early and you’ll miss out but they do pack a carry away breakfast if notified. Disregard the check-in warnings on Expedia that states they stop check-in at 530. That’s nonsense and they’ll welcome you whenever you get there. One last warning, their entrance is subtle and can easily be missed if your driver is not used to dropping off passengers at the Desertica.

We were warmly greeted and given detailed local info by the excellent friendly warm front office person. The room was exceptional, as were the hotel grounds. Piscina não é aquecida

O hotel é super exclusivo, com bangalôs confortáveis e agradáveis, a comida muito gostosa, café da manhã a lá carte e o atendimento impecável. A única coisa que achei de ponto negativo é a piscina não ser aquecida, estamos em um clima que chega a -5 a noite, não faz sentido ter piscina e não ser aquecida, tirei um dia de descanso pensando em aproveitar a piscina porém é impossível.
