"Clean room and hotel was right behind outlets!"

" I'm only giving 2 stars because I didn't meet everyone and our room was clean upon arrival. I didn't get names but the overnight front desk lady was great, everyone else we dealt with was rude and derelict in their duties. We had 1 towel upon arrival which I didn't notice until the next day getting out of the shower. Maids never came or gave us towels. The front desk said they couldn't help that evening because they were locked up. I had to get them the following morning and one of them was covered in brown streaks. We got locked out of our room on one of the days and it took several trips to the front desk for a remedy. Each time I returned (w/in 2 mins of each other) the clerk asked me if I was there to check in like she hadn't just spoke to me. Long story short, both the maid and maintenance man was sent to our room separately to let us in/fix it and both separately lied about going to our room and then the maid was very rude to us about it. We waiting in the hallway for her so she couldn't have come without us noticing. The maintenance man claims he came and opened the door later. We were in the room waiting for him so that's impossible. It's not a huge deal but shower had very little water pressure. Also, if you care, this location doesn't have a bar. I rarely leave reviews good or bad but this trip was very disappointing ! I have always loved Holiday Inn Express but things have changed including the look. I definitely will not be going back!!!! "

"Stay was comfortable and quiet. Only issues were that we booked a King bed and got two queens. Also there was an outlet that didn't work used by the microwave and fridge. They easily without hassle got us in another room. "

"I booked this room because the website stated that it contained a "deep, soaking bathtub" Not only was the tub the standard shallow tub, but the porcelain was chipped with sharp spots and the drain was rusty, dirty and did not close properly. The toilet handle was loose, making it difficult to flush. There were only thin curtains on the windows, which faced a brightly lit parking lot and shopping center - it was difficult to sleep with all the light pollution in the room. Upon arrival, I was also required to put down a $25 "room deposit", even though I had paid in full in advance. Though it was eventually refunded, I feel that I should have been advised of this upfront. "

"Staff was fine. The room was OK for the price.Hard bed, cardboard like pillows, and the breakfast was not continental. No fruit, no cream cheese for the bagel and the waffles were sour. Not sure how that even happens."
