"clean room"

"They were so rude when I arrived. There was a problem with checkin, and I had to talk to a manager to resolve it. I have never been spoken to so dismissively and rudely. When I got to my room, it was disgustingly dirty, and smelled like mold. The pool was out of commission. The ac was stuck on and wouldn’t turn off, it was a cold weekend. I requested maintenance come look, they never did. It was so cold in the room. There’s a little pantry where you can buy snacks, when I bought them there, the staff never even looked up from their phone to ring me up. The day before I checked out, I requested and paid for a late check out at 12:30 rather than 11am because I had a zoom meeting that I wanted to take in the room. I confirmed it with the front desk two times, once the morning before check out, and once the evening before check out. Housekeeping started banging on the door at 11am. I informed them of my approved late check out. They knocked again at 11:15, 11:30, and noon. I rescheduled the meeting and just left. I would not stay there again."

"This is a perfectly adequate hotel. It was clean. Breakfast was good, except the watery oatmeal. I did not try any of the amenities. The coffee maker in the lobby was pretty good, but disappointed that there was none in the room. Bed’s were not bad. I had a hard time sleeping and I should have brought sound machine because of the noise in hotel. Over all really not bad for the price. "

"Room was fine, quite comfortable. Pool was in front of the hotel and green with algae. Front door was off the track. Elevator was in poor condition (buttons falling off, musty smell, no a/c). Breakfast was sub-par. Eggs tasted rubbery and pre-cooked/reheated. Staff was inconsistent with communication regarding late check-out, which caused stress trying to figure out check-out situation."

"It was a little hard to find, but that’s more of a Google Maps problem. Enjoyed our stay, the property was quaint and felt like we were much farther away from San Marcos than the quick 10 minute drive, so we had the best of both worlds. Highly recommend!!"

"Hotel is a little older, but clean. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Although there were long lines for breakfast, the selection and quality was great. "
