Room felt dirty but beds were relatively clean and comfortable. Parking is awful and you have to park on street if you arrive late. Breakfast is pretty much apple, oatmeal, and ham croissants, definetly not like the major hotel chains breakfast. Pool was green from so much chemicals. Personally prob would not stay again. Staff was overall pleasant. Feels like it is owned by someone who likes to really pinch pennies.

We ended up having to arrive late to our reservation and the front desk was very helpful in setting up a lock box for our room card. Also the light breakfast was the perfect little start to our day.

The breakfast menu was good better than most places I must say. Better than the normal that you would see at other hotels, which is cheap, nasty pancakes, bad sausage and bad eggs so it wasn’t improvement from that. I’m just a little bit of a snob about soggy croissants.

Independent Hotel. Hotel an sich sehr gepflegt. Zweckmäßige Zimmer. Frühstück sehr Basic und wenig Sitzgelegenheiten. Check in sehr unfreundlich und wortkarg. Ansonsten von der Lage her empfehlenswertes Hotel.

A great hotel for a night stay, the room and bed is massive and really clean. Has nice touches like bows made out of towels in bathroom and makeup wipes with Dove products. Breakfast is small but was OK.

This is a beautifully maintained hotel. It is as clean as it could possibly be in. The rooms are extremely comfortable. My room had a balcony which was fantastic. The bathrooms are amazing with fantastic showers. TV was DIRECTV and easy to operate. The breakfast was just OK with limited selections. As far as I could tell there was coffee, which was good, oatmeal and croissant breakfast sandwiches which we’re not very good because they were so greasy that if you ate one, you might have to exercise and burn off 1500 cal before you go out for your day. Other guests seem to enjoy the breakfast so maybe I’m too picky. I just would like to see a healthy option like some fresh fruit and maybe a bagel or wheat bread that could be toasted. The guy at the desk when I checked in in the evening is super accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. If you have an extra time and want to know something about the area or Hotel, he is the guy to ask. If you’re in a rush and you need to get somewhere, don’t talk to him. He is a talker. The woman who runs the front desk in the morning, hates her job and is very unhappy person. She did not affect my stay in any way, but she’s very unpleasant. Makes everyone around her uncomfortable and missed out on the hospitality part of the hospitality industry. I do recommend this hotel. It’s a very nice.

We stayed in the penthouse. The bath was glorious. I can't fit a tub like that in my home so this was a real treat. The restaurant recommendations from the from desk were spot on. The wifi in the (top floor) room was weak and the fireplace didn't work. Neither item were of too much importance at the time so I didn't mention them until checkout, I was told that both were easy fixes; the wifi repeater needed to be reset and the pilot light needed to be lit. The buffet breakfast was weak. That is to say minimal but since we were only staying two nights, it was bearable. There are many motels closer to the Marro Bay attractions but none (that I am aware of) offer the Masterpiece penthouse. If you're able and willing to climb two flights of stairs, it's worth it. I would recommend this motel based on the room. All things considered, it think it would choose this room again.
