The Blue Sail Inn was a nice place to stay in this charming bayside town on the central coast of California. I was happy to book it when I did. Although, we didn’t have a patio room, we had a bay view room across the street from the main building and lobby. Perched on the hillside and 2nd story helped with viewing the sunset and the goings on outside of our room. Lisa was very helpful at checking us in, gave good dinner recommendations and even double checked that the restaurant was open. When we got to our room she had left a gift bag, as it was our 23rd anniversary, which was super sweet! The room was a little dated, but it was clean and comfortable. I would recommend to wash the exterior of the windows more often since they don’t open. Makes for a much better viewing experience. The shower had great water pressure, more than enough towels and there was a ceiling fan and the side window opened. So nice to have fresh air instead of having to use the AC. Lots of eateries, coffee shops, gift shops and the docks are all within 500-1000 feet. Morro rock park was just 0.8 miles from the inn. We would definitely stay there again.
