"The location was extremely convenient, close to the Freeway and a bunch of restaurants, grocery stores and coffee shops. The property was well maintained and really clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again in the future."

"I love Hotel SLO and have stayed there several times. It’s a beautiful property, in the middle of downtown, with ridiculously comfortable beds and an excellent staff. Unfortunately, the last couple times I’ve stayed there have been some maintenance issues in the rooms that have not been addressed. The door to our bathroom was very difficult to slide and all in all everything in the bathroom was loose, tired, and needed attention. It feels like Hotel SLO is riding on its laurels and not working hard to maintain its excellence as a Michelin recognized property."

"The hotel was clean, the staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was okay but not fancy. There were a few things broken in the room. A lamp and a missing handle in the kitchenette. There was a sharp screw sticking out where the handle should be. We didn’t have small children with us so we didn’t worry about it. It was nice to have the kitchenette with a refrigerator and microwave. There were also 2 cook tops but we didn’t use those. The beds were comfortable but had an older look to the frames."
