We were very lucky with an incredible butler at The Villages in Timothy who took care of everything during our stay allowing us to relax. However, we were very disappointed in the water park not being open due to low water and none of the hot tubs working. We selected the resort for the water park. The location and view is paradise imagined and the resort is wonderfully designed. However, for the price per night I would expect the food to be better and for the place to have better up keep.

We have stayed at the El Conquistador in the past and loved Las Casitas so much more. It is less busy and much more private. We had the infinity pool to ourselves quite often and we as easy to find places to relax. It was close enough to El Conquistador to still enjoy the amenities. The property is stunning and staff are exceptional. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful property. Our casita was comfortable, spacious, clean and had an amazing view. Staff were always attentive. Check in/out was prompt and efficient. Special recognition and gratitude to Angel, at Ventanas restaurant. He is in the egg/omelette station. He made the long wait for breakfast worth it. It’s so great to see someone who is not only great at his job but he is kind, fun and the best service oriented attitude. The hotel is amazing. The private island was incredible. Can’t wait to return.

Just a classic resort. La Casita gives a family a wonderful apartment to enjoy it from. Every morning a shuttle (golf cart or van) will take you and your family to the resort where you walk through the beautiful lobby, then onto a funicular and then to a ferry ride to Palomino Island. That may seem like a bit of work but it’s totally worth it. Palomino is fabulous. Its restaurant and staff are also top notch. Or if you want to not move so much the pools are beautiful and close by. The golf course views I think are even more stunning than the ocean views. A resort to try with your family at least once.

Not cancel my reservation upon arrival that was paid for, with no courtesy phone call to let me know my reservation was canceled and the reason why after I showed all proof/emails stating the exact opposite. Valid reason why my stay was canceled other then the response I got onsite which was “there’s nothing I can do” as a result had us going crazy trying to find other accommodations for the duration of our stay and on VALENTINES DAY on top of all this, and the embarrassment this caused me and my wife. Ruined our complete 1st day on the island a complete waste of time that I can never get back on top of the embarrassment.
