"Would highly recommend this place. The owners just couldn't be nicer or more helpful. The cabins are bright, comfortable, and clean. The location is convenient to the Mirador de Ujarras and the Ruinas de Ujarras as well as multiple good restaurants. The citrus trees on the grounds attract lots of interesting birds. We saw at least 35 species from our porch. Hanging out with their adorable, super friendly Doberman was a big bonus for us."

"We stayed at the Apartotel and Suites Villas del Rio for two weeks on our first ever visit to Costa Rica. The continental breakfast along with the made to order options was a perfect way to start each morning. The staff was one of the biggest highlights. The noticeable perk was the security presence and attentiveness to the guests and visitors of the premises. Everyone was incredibly kind and the front desk team went above and beyond. They recommended several authentic local restaurants that were both affordable and close by and every suggestion was spot on. They helped us choose tours in the area that matched what we enjoy. Our room exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, spotless, and far nicer than we imagined from the photos. The patio quickly became one of our favorite places to relax. The cleaning staff did an excellent job throughout our stay keeping everything fresh and comfortable. Two stand out perks were the heated pool in the 24/7 coffee which we took advantage of daily. Overall the condo delivered far more than we anticipated. Great service, great amenities and great location. All around a fantastic stay!"
