Perfect beautiful place

Beautiful b&b. The room is large, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast servered by the host/owner. The owner was very informative and helpful with restaurant recommendations. The location is very central but it is still very quiet and pleasant.

Lovely island of green in this western part of San Jose. Nice rooms, unique cape cod style house with lovely wooden finishing, nicely appointed. Great breakfast in the back patio. Friendly and helpful hosts.

San Jose over Christmas.

After a stressful year, I chose a solo trip to Costa Rica to unwind. Casa de las Tias is the perfect place to do so, a tranquil garden oasis in the city. Javier and Pilar are very friendly hosts, they invited me to join them fort a traditional Ticos meal on Christmas Eve. This is a simple retreat, no tv, no bar, there is wi-fi and the MultiPlaza Mall is a short ride away. Lots of local restaurants and bars. Recommend here for anyone wanting to relax with no distractions.

Our time in Casa de las Tias was excellent. The house is beautiful, surrounded by a wonderful garden. The owners were extremely helpful and the brekfast was great, we would come again.

Un havre de paix en milieu urbain

Une magnifique maison de style colonial dans un beau jardin, extrêmement bien meublée et décorée et avec des propriétaires absolument charmants qui nous ont accueillis et reçus comme des amis. Le seul "hic" est que pour y arriver, il faut braver la circulation intense et assez agressive de San Jose et de ses environs ! Il faut savoir aussi que le réseau routier du pays ne comporte pratiquement aucun panneau de signalisation ni de direction ... pas évident du tout de s'y retrouver dans un environnement urbain assez dense et compliqué !

A Vertable Oasis, Outskirt of San Jose

This was a veritable oasis in San Jose region. Xavier and Pillar were extremely attentive and helpful. The breakfasts (full) were lovely and the sitting areas both inside and out were lovely. A place to relax and wind down. We enjoyed meeting other travellers during breakfast and siting outside on the veranda over a drink! Ed a drink and converse with other guests
