So I got two voicemails from Expedia before the reservation saying the hotel was closed . I called Expedia talked to an agent that then said no it’s open and the reservation is good. My son and I drove there got to the gate which was closed and there was no one to be found. No Expedia is not even refunding me . Not only should you not book this hotel but you should not book anything through Expedia .

Our experience with this Spa started on the first part of our 2 stop flight to Costa Rica with a WhatsApp message from one of the people working there letting us know that our card wasn't going threw - We had already paid threw Expedia and the charge was on our statement so I was VERY confused as to what was happening. We contacted Expedia who could not get them on the phone. The Spa wanted us to cancel threw Expedia and rebook directly with them with a card. At this point I let them know directly that Expedia was trying to get in touch with them they told me that Expedia was telling them to tell me to cancel and just pay them directly - at the same Expedia was telling me they weren't able to get a hold of anyone at the resort. The Spa also made it clear that if we didn't put a card down to hold the room it wouldn't be available upon out arrival but that if we booked directly they could get us better rates. It was becoming clear that the Spa was just trying to avoid paying Expedia whatever part of the fee they usually get. We were ultimately forced to book another hotel during our layover and Expedia told us we had to wait until they get their money back from this place to refund us on that stay. I think its insane that Expedia still has this location listed on their services with this level of dishonesty and stress that they put on their customers. Keep in mind we were literally on a flight to this destination when the first message came threw. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!

This is a peaceful place with a good ambiance in which you can get great spa services, but is under staffed. The restaurant was overpriced for what you got and not in line with it's pricing, like no bread or salads to go with your entrée, or that the dessert was inedible. There no TV's in the room, and that is ok, but there is also no air conditioning which is ok if you have air flow... but there was no screens on the balcony doors or windows... so either you get bit up by bugs with the windows open, or they are closed and you are hot at night. Also pretty bad was the bed. Clearly it had seen better days and was actually collapsed on one side with a curved crease down the middle, so you felt like you were rolling off the edge if you were on that side of the bed.

The hotel in itself was lovely, but we were the only guests there and so I would have imagined the staff to be a bit more attentive. Breakfast was nice but we did miss cooked options.

Bien, el sitio es lindo sin embargo le falta un poco más de esmero en algunas áreas. No es posible que los empleados no puedan encender el chandelier del restaurante porque los regañan ya que es de “adorno” eso fue bastante austero. El servicio al cliente muy bueno, la comida regular en tamaño y gusto. El café orgánico muy bueno y el sitio es muy pacifico.

There was one person running the whole hotel! He was very nice man & did his best. ....but it is obvious that the hotel does not get enough business and is UNDER STAFFED. No bar , no air conditioning, no TV. Hot tub cold....pool dirty. 😩😩😩😩😩

I really loved the big open rooms and high ceilings. The place was really lovely and all the little details were very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved going to sleep with the stars and waking up with the sun. I very much enjoyed lounging by the pool and thought the service was excellent from breakfast to poolside pitchers of water. I will definitely come back and stay longer.

Braulio and the staff made sure I had a wonderful stay. It has the convenience of being close to the airport but still gives you the escape of the country with beautiful views of coffee fields in the distance.

Une belle chambre mais aucun service

La chambre est très grande et très agréable mais l'accueil à l'hôtel le soir est très triste, pas de bar pas de possibilité de diner après 20h. Le WIFI n'est pas disponible dans les chambres, bref séjour triste

Overpriced for the service and amenities included. The breakfast is pathetic, the service is lacking, the pools are unusable as they’re freezing cold, half the machines at the gym don’t work and the massage was basic at best. The room size and the view were the only redeeming features.

Lovely views, but falls short of potential

The views are amazing. The room was comfortable, although no AC (in the winter that works - not sure if one was there during the summer!). The staff was friendly, but not particularly knowledgeable. Also, on our arrival date, we were later than expected - about 830, and by then they had closed not only the restaurant, but even the bar. Overall, this property has potential, but needs a professional management team to bring it up to the standard it could achieve. Finally, wifi was only available in the lounge area - and even that was pretty weak.
