Barcelo San Jose hotel is impecable in every respect- cleanliness, service etc. It has 3 restaurants to choose from: Japanese, all you can eat buffet, and another one with table sevice. Breakfast was excellent! It has rice beans, veggies, meat, yogurt, etc. the swimming pool area looks nice, very tropical. The room is spacious and clean. The main downside is that there is no elevator… so carrying heavy suitcase upstairs is quite a walk. Other than that, the hotel is very good.
