Our stay was mostly good. The host Augustine was accommodating, friendly, and proud of his B&B they had been in his family for generations. We enjoyed the beautiful antiques all around and picking peaches from the tree outside. Augustine made us a delicious breakfast of all homemade food- bread, yogurt, and eggs.
We would not choose to stay here for the following reasons. You cannot lock your door from the outside so we felt like our valuables were at risk when we left the inn. Second, if you expect a nice pool like the picture shows, you will be disappointed. It is lake/river water that flows in and out of the “pool” that is green and opaque. Also, the grounds when you arrive are all dirt with 6 large dogs around you. We ended up making friends with the dogs because they would join us on our walks, which made us feel more comfortable because there are some scary dogs that jump out and are terrifying. Finally, we were excited to enjoy the special dinner that we read many good reviews about. And it was my 50th bday, I wanted something special It was not very good and also the most expensive meal we ate in Chile, (all other food in Chile was fabulous).
