After checking-in I requested to switch rooms. The front desk was very accommodating in that request but in my haste I left my $400 headphones in the original room. I realized my mistake just 30 minutes later but when I alerted the front desk they had already re-assigned the room to someone else. The hotel manager said she would follow up the next day but after (3) three additional visits to the front desk the following morning I was sadly informed that the hotel guests had checked out taking my headphones and the Double Tree front desk Manager Gabrielle never even spoke to them once about my headphones. She instead had housekeeping finally sweep the room after they left with me standing there knowing what the outcome would be. Furthermore, as of right now, it is roughly 36 hours later and I have yet to be contacted by a Hilton resolution specialist in regards to the matter. My claim No. 161842264 remains open and unresolved.
