My recent stay here in San Bernardino was extremely disappointing. The room was very dirty and clearly not cleaned properly before we arrived. There was visible mold throughout the shower, and while showering there was a strong moldy smell that made the experience very unpleasant. The tile on the walls had dirt buildup along them, which made it obvious the bathroom had not been properly scrubbed.
The bedding was also in poor condition. The blankets and sheets had cigarette burn holes in them, and the blankets felt stiff and crusty, which was very uncomfortable.
On top of that, the motel requires a $55 deposit hold (either cash or card), which I found unreasonable considering the poor cleanliness and condition of the room. For a property charging a deposit, guests should at the very least expect a clean and properly maintained room.
Overall, this was not a good experience and I would not stay here again.
