Room needs dusted. Property supplied ear plugs in bed rooms due to a lot of excessive noise from the street. Also had shots fired around 2:00am one morning while there. I will not be coming back to this property.

Staff was outstanding! Location is excellent, but the windows in this building need to be replaced. I could hear the street racing from my window late into the night. The people talking outside could be heard as if they were in the room next door even though we were on the seventh floor. Figured out quickly why there were earplugs on each bedside table.

This place was adorable! It smelled amazing when we walked in, & our studio was clean, spacious, & very comfortable. Just as others have mentioned, it did get a little noisy later in the evening, but we expected that given how close it is to the River Walk. They provide earplugs, a sleep mask, & a sound machine, which was a thoughtful touch. The bed & pillows were super comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. At checkout, Bianca greeted us & made sure we were satisfied with our stay. She also went above & beyond to help us with a separate booking issue, which we truly appreciated. She was professional, kind, & very pleasant to talk to. For parking, the garage around the corner is a great option at about $10/night - much cheaper than valet. Valet is still convenient (available until 9 PM) & even that is more affordable than some of the open parking lots nearby. We’ll definitely be back!

First the good: A very nice room. Excellent in every way. Clean, comfortable, well appointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic - right near the riverwalk and downtown and the Alamo and other stuff in the central district like shops, theaters, and museums. Now the not so good: The pre-registration process was such a nightmare that I will never stay at a placemakr property again. Their links are obtuse and risky, their website did not perform well on my phone, it didn’t like may camera, it didn’t want to take the picture of my ID, then when I finally got it to work it wouldn’t match that with my selfie. Then I go through all that trouble and more, enter my credit card info (again?) and it ends up not transferring to the property (thankfully the staff at the front desk were able to fix it - but they are not there all the time so I was fortunate). Where do the pictures of our ID go? Who can see them? They have all of our contact info, our credit cards, our IDs - but their privacy policies are not super clear. It’s not a good process at all. Also - not the properties fault really, but there was a literal shootout in the street in front of the property as a fight spilled out of the saloon across the street at 2am and ended up with shots fired. Getting woken up by gunshots outside your room window is kind of anxiety inducing.

Third time staying here. It's a hidden gem in downtown San Antonio. Staff is amazing. Rooms are always clean and tidy. Definitely my new favorite spot to stay in San Antonio.

Property was very nice. Staff were friendly. Room was super cute and cozy. Rates were cheaper than surrounding rooms. GREAT bang for the buck. My room was noisy outside. I found the noise canceller when I was cleaning to check out. I will defiantly be back. GREAT location

The staff was GREAT! They were helpful, professional, friendly, upbeat. The hotel is a minute walk away from the Riverwalk. The room was really a little apartment. Note: you have to request housekeeping.

Loved the retro/vintage vibe. It is in such a great location that is accessible to everything. We had a great time! Staff was so nice. It is a bit noisy, but you can’t seem to get away from that being in the center activity. Very clean. Always felt safe.

Our first greeting was great. And the rest of our stay was as friendly as the first. Loved our room. We had everything we needed. The birds were like a wake up call. Amenities: There's a Library with a bar and Stand Up every night downstairs. We loved hanging out in the library. **You'll notice ear plugs on the side tables. If you need total quiet, you may want to confirm if there are rooms that don't need them**
