Secret Oasis!

Best keep secret on the west side of San Antonio. Close to everything we needed and the pool was awesome. Continental breakfast was lacking but with so many breakfast choices so close no worries!

If you are looking for an affordable and friendly place to stay, this is the place to be. We went for ours sons Air Force graduation and we had a great time and staying here added to it. The owners and workers are very attentive and friendly.

I had a good stay peaceful and quiet. Not a lot of people partying and being loud like some places. Staff is very Informative and polite. Room and property over all is very clean and spacious. I recommend coming here.

Dead bolt did not work and indoor handle fell off. They fixed the handle and said they had a guy coming today to fix dead bolt Was very pleased with hot water level and amount. Hot showers are important to me. Breakfast was basically waffle, juice or dry cereal Overall appropriately priced. Workers were friendly. Would stay again.

The Inn was easy to find. I checked in about 3am an the woman working was nice. The Inn isnt a 4 star resort, its a reasonably priced place and was suitable and comfortable to me. The room was spacious, looked to be freshly painted, has wood looking laminate floors, which I prefer over carpet. The bed was comfortable, linens and towels were fresh. The bathroom was fine. I felt safe being there. The ac worked great. Each time I came and went, I noticed that staff was keeping an eye on the property which I also liked.

The arrival is accessible, but the manager lacks courtesy. They give you the keys to a spacious room, but you can smell the cigarette smell, very worn furniture and mattresses and dirty bathtub. In fact, we did not use it. The sheets are clean. There is no breakfast included and they come to disturb very early before check out time.

Very basic, bottom of the line, straight to the point. Nothing exciting. No unique decorations or amenities. Glad they had a pool but not for swimming, just cooling off. Offered a small breakfast, but i could have done without listening to the staffs nasty personal phone conversation. It didn't seem like anyone took advantage of the breakfast offered. Everything seemed clean but old, with the exception of the flooring. The flooring looked newer. I would not stay here again.

Anomalies at the Roadway

Check in was seamless. I parked my car in a parking spot and not in front, not giving easy visibility as to how I had arrived there, so the lady asked, “where is my car?” Then less than 10min of checking in a child knocked on my door stating he was looking for his father. I am certain it was the front desk ladies child checking to see if I had snuck in anyone else. The next day, I stayed in due to a migraine and housekeeping knocks on the door. I didn’t need service. The gentleman was very nice. After lunch as I was sitting in bed still with my throbbing headache, someone briefly knocked and before I could stand up, he had already made entry to my room. I was shocked. Apparently maintenance checking the toilet for flushing efficiency. He calls someone and asked if there was a leak as he flushed. Unexpected. The place was clean. Bed was comfortable. It was affordable. I had booked three nights and the last night I had gone out to grab a bite and when I came back, locked out of my room. I had to go to the front desk. The lady wasn’t sure wether I had booked 2 or 3 nights. How do you not know this by room number? She then prompts me to review the place and said she would help me. The place wasn’t bad at all to stay at. It was safe, clean, staff was friendly and affordable. Minus the small anomalies it was a good stay.
