Room was very nice; appears to have been recently renovated. Breakfast was good with nice variety of items but vinyl furnishings in lobby breakfast area were quite worn and in need of repair. For this reason I’d rate the hotel at a 7.8 overall.

The hotel is in a historic building so the outside is older and the rooms were smaller; however, the comfort and service were as good as it gets. Ivette at the front desk allowed us to check in early, and we were grateful because we had a very early flight. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. One of the best aspects was the daily breakfast - cheesy omelets, biscuits and gravy, freshly ground and brewed coffee. The location was about 5 blocks to the riverwalk, two blocks from the historic Mexican market and one block from the Spanish governor's palace. I found this hotel to be a great value.
