"Room was very clean. Bed and linens good. View good. Breakfast very nice. Loved the refurbished hotel with evidence of history, but with modern amenities. Very hard to get water warm. Very low water pressure to do hair and shower. Enjoyed myself here."

Bear River Casino Resort

"I stayed at the Bear River Casino Resort because my son’s soccer team was playing in a tournament in a nearby town, I would not choose this resort for future games for several reasons. The first is that this hotel is attached to a casino. Our non-smoking room smelled like smoke, and we were woken up both nights to the sound of drunk guests shouting in the hallway. The room we had was a nice size but in a slightly shabby state of repair. There was no room refresh during our stay. We were given a $7 per person voucher for breakfast at the restaurant downstairs which we used on the first morning. The restaurant was understaffed, it took us 45 minutes to be seated and another hour to get our food. The food was mediocre at best and they got our order wrong. We decided to skip the hotel breakfast the next day and ate at a nearby restaurant instead. The positives of this hotel was that the staff was nice, and the shower in the bathroom was nice. Overall, I do not think our experience was worth the price we paid for our stay, and I would not stay here again."

"The room was big, yet the bathroom was dirty and run down. The maid was very kind and helpful, as she is the only human at this hotel. To check-in you use a kiosk with AI, which takes a lot longer to check-in even though I had pre-checked in online. There is plenty of parking, with a lot of cameras videoing the area. Coffee in room and the brunch area was not good, apple juice was sour, the yogurt was outdated, so we went out to eat, as did not want to spend time being sick. Next time we will spend the extra $'s and stay somewhere else."
