Young and promptly staff to help

As a solo female I’m always concerned about my safety as a number one goal, in this place not only I felt safe I felt represented by all young men who assisted me and helped me through few problems I got through schedule in Samarkand which I gotta change everyday extending my stay as my plan to enter Tajikistan was cancelled so I had to rearrange all my outbound tickets and itinerary, staff promptly helped me letting me use their main computer also offered me to used their phones to call Emirates.

I stayed at Ko'k Saroy and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Samarkand. The location is top notch. It’s right on the main street, and from there you can walk to Gur-e-Amir and Registan in just a few minutes. You really don’t need a car or taxi at all unless you’re heading far out of the center. There’s a great little coffee shop just around the corner that serves iced Americanos and lattes, which I was especially grateful for as a traveler used to that kind of thing. The street also has plenty of restaurants and places to sit and relax between sightseeing. The staff at the hotel were incredibly kind and helpful. They were happy to assist with anything, no matter what time I asked. It made the whole stay feel welcoming and easy. They speak multiple languages and as a Persian-speaker, the majority of Samarkand city is Tajik which is very convenient, and the staff who aren't Tajik understand Persian perfectly. The rooms are clean, new, and very comfortable, and the restaurant next to the hotel had some of the best food I had in town. Really glad I booked here.

Ko'k Saroy Hotel truly exceeded all expectations. In my opinion, it has the best location in the city—just a 5-minute walk to the breathtaking Gur-e-Amir, and less than 10 minutes to the Registan, from where you can explore the entire historic old city on foot. During my stay, I didn’t need a single taxi except for visiting Ulughbek’s observatory, which is a bit farther out. The service was absolutely exceptional. Mamur at the reception was always very friendly and efficient with any question or request, and Farrukh, the owner and manager, is genuinely one of the kindest, most helpful, and most available people I've met in all my travels. He even invited me to attend a traditional Samarkandian Tajik wedding taking place next door—an unforgettable experience. There's also a fantastic restaurant just next to the hotel that serves the best plov I had during my entire time in Samarkand. The rooms themselves are modern, clean, and comfortable, with strong air conditioning and excellent Wi-Fi, both of which were much appreciated in the heat. I wouldn't stay anywhere else next time I'm in Samarkand. Highly recommended!

El peor hotel que alguna vez visité. Es un hotel muy viejo, muy feo, muy mal mantenido y sucio. No pasé más de 20 minutos antes de decidir irme. Preferí perder el dinero de la reserva antes que quedarme ahí. Todo en el hotel es oscuro, viejo, lúgubre, y sucio. Incluso el "gerente" duerme en el pasillo. La habitación estaba llena de insectos. Este es el hotel más asqueroso qué pisado alguna vez afortunadamente no me quedé. Hice el reclamo a hoteles con fotos y pruebas para ver si me devuelven el dinero.
