"Unexpected surprise. We were on the fence about this experience. Was it really worth the money? The communication from the accommodations is horrible- perhaps they haven't learned how to use the messaging system. However, the onsite experience was stellar! FYI- There are not mosquito nets on the children's beds in the family lodge. Though we could not confirm food before we got there the breakfast and dinners are provided and quite nice. A breakdown of what is included and not included would be helpful to inform travelers who want to book. Overall, it was a magical time. "
"The room that was initially given to me was not great, and I asked for a change, which the team handled without any issues. Overall, this is a nice location, the staff were very nice, and the food was great as well. "
"To be honest everything. The room was full of dead ants when we arrived, including on the bed which we had to clean ourselves. And during the day, the water turned off and when we called reception, they were briefly rude and abruptly ended the call.
The restaurant’s food was terrible as well and overpriced, we asked for a menu and did not receive one and were charged buffet price for left over food (which we didn’t even get to choose).
Also, we made the mistake of booking a massage to relax, the massage itself was okay, but the room and equipment were dirty and the payment was complicated for no reason. The reception lady gave us false information about the payment, and denied it rudely after. Which confused us and the massage lady.
I would not recommend this place to anyone and would never come here again. It was a shame since the local people are nice and most staff were also nice but this made me feel very negatively about the place. "
"Friendly staff. Great amenities. I stayed in a floating room and it was spectacular. Great food. Beautiful clean grounds. There was so much that I loved about my stay I wished that it was longer "
"This hotel is simply superb. It hs all the amenities of a large resort (swimming pools, oceanfront), good food, but it is locally owned and inspired and has very positive character. I travel a lot and would recommend this place very highly."
