Wonderful resort, with an extremely courteous and helpful staff. The area is beautiful and quiet.
Only minus is the excessive corkage fee attached to bringing your own wine to the restaurant.

The Williamsburg Inn is a delightful place to enjoy a get-away, while visiting Colonial Williamsburg, or other area attractions. Upon arriving, we were met by the attentive staff who saw to our every need. When entering the hotel, we saw many vases of beautiful yellow roses grouped together, which complemented the attractive décor. There are many sitting areas to visit with friends, or quietly read a book. At various times, a lady dressed in 18th century clothing was seated knitting, which...

The property was clean. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. This is a good hotel to stay the night. We were only there for a night, but it was comfortable and well taken care of.

My family and I stayed at the hotel for several nights while sightseeing.
The good stuff...
-The location of the hotel was perfect. Very close to Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, and restaurants.
-The staff at the hotel were very nice. Every morning at breakfast the staff made a point of checking with everyone before they packed up for the day Someone from the front desk greeted us every time we came in.

The B&B is absolutely lovely, but there is no one there to greet you or that we even saw at all, except for breakfasts. We booked for two nights and had the 'Green Room' at the top of the stairs, at the front of the house. It's a beautiful room, as are all the rooms there. There is honestly not a bad room (we went into every one of them) and they are all almost identical, except for one twin room. There was an envelope attached to the front door with instructions and that was it. We made...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Williamsburg Sampler B & B. We appreciated the close proximity to Colonial Williamsburg and William and Mary College, as well as the quiet location. Mr. Ike is such a kind man and an excellent Innkeeper..lovely to talk to him and tour his Inn. The room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was just delicious! We will definitely revisit this quaint inn on our next visit!

I was traveling with 4 11 to 14 year old kids. The facility was great, staff helpful, and there was plenty for the kids to do. They even put down thier cell phones, and engaged in the real world!
Great place for a damily.

If you want to be within walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg and need larger rooms, this is ideal. There is no restaurant on site, but there is one close by. It is clean, and has small amenities like coffee and a common room. The staff are absolutely lovely, welcoming and helpful.
