「This was a great property for our family to have rented as it was spacious and had all the amenities that we needed. Lovely location within walking distance of the beautiful sandy beach and local shops. Would definitely recommend this property and destination to overs. 」

「Cottage was ok but after booking through hotels.com I was contacted by Host & Stay and advised I had to pay an additional fee for a damage waiver. Alternatively I could pay a deposit but they take an admin fee so you don’t get the full amount back plus they state they may take 14 days to refund.」

「A beautifully appointed house, which was cosy and inviting. The accommodation served my purpose being conveniently located to explore the Yorkshire Coast from Flamborough Head to Redcar. I can fully recommend staying here, and there was easy communication with the owners - Anthony and Jane. There was a lovely welcoming array of goodies on the dining table, which was very thoughtful! 」

「A wonderfully presented, clean and comfortable stay was had at The Railway cottage. The facilites were very good and extra touches such as blackout material avaliable to use was very useful in a heat wave. The cottage is in a good location for travelling to tourist spots. We found the matresses uncomfortable as they are very soft but this is just personal preference. I would also agree with other reviews that the backyard needs some attention and could do with a tidy up. It can be noisy as the...
