Pros and Cons
Pros:
Spacious, multi-level layout with plenty of room for four. Peaceful lakeside setting, close to Ganges, and surrounded by songbirds — very tranquil overall.
Cons:
Although this is a mid-range property, the furnishings feel dated and the overall cleanliness could be better. Staff were generally responsive, but I was taken aback when they laughed after I mentioned that my husband had fallen — quite hard — while carrying our dinner, which ended up scattered across the front yard. The fall was caused by a sizeable, hidden hole in the grass beside the pathway that’s clearly worn from regular use between the parking spot and the front door. When I told the manager, she brushed it off, saying she’d fallen in the same hole herself. If it’s a known hazard, why hasn’t it been fixed? That really speaks to the level of care and attention at this property.
Overall: Would I stay there again? Not likely.
