Bad service

Awful. This place was under construction and the front desk personnel (Charles) was rude to my friend and I. I have never heard of any law where a Utah resident is barred from residing at a hotel property. We went elsewhere.

Room was very run down

We have stayed over a dozen times at Home2 Suites over the years, including this one in West Valley. We like the more modern day look and the pool. (cleaned with mostly salt) I was very disappointed in the room and meal options. First of all there was food and trash behind the night stand, some of the outlets didn't work, the small table has some lament falling off, the bathroom door wouldn't shut or lock, and was damaged, the lamp was just gone on the side of one of the beds, the curtain/shade was damaged and wouldn't roll up most of the way and the fridge made a loud sound all night. These are some of the problems we dealt with. The room was run down and they had not maintained it well. We were told we would have warm breakfast, and I got a plain bagel, with an apple, PB & grape jam. They had run out of cream cheese and there oven was busted. The only positive thing was the AGM Lu. She was very kind and understanding about our upsetting stay, and offered to change our room or cancel the second night so we could go somewhere else. It was because of her and her kindness that we stayed another night. Plus we had already settled in, and other hotels weren't even offering breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The walls were paper thin, guests next door were blasting music after the quiet hours, and kids were jumping and running upstairs until 1am. After addressing the issue with the front desk, they said nothing would be done about it. Staff was rude.

Was the best stay! Staff was very friendly and helpful! I didn’t get a chance to get the friendly man who helped us but he had a service dog named grace. Best employee! 10/10 stay. If I’m ever back in utah will definitely stay here again.
