A must go when visiting Colombia, Cathedral of Salt. This is an artificial cut in the floor filled with water to reflect the mines ceiling. When approached it looks like you’re looking into a pit when in fact its just a reflection on still water.
Magical place. Most of the chandelier is in fact made of salt. #ontheroad

A different type of attraction. Very interesting. The grounds looked nice but we had no time to explore. You pay for parking but we felt car was secure as guards were very evident.

Be sure to get your audio guide. I realized there were audio guides when i left after having joined a tour where I understood nothing since it was in Spanish only.

Super easy to take bus to portal del Norte, then when you go out to the left there will be busses to Zipaquirá for $5,200 one way. You can walk to cathedral or take another city tour bus. Cute city!
