「The double room only has one bed and a table. Luggage has to be placed on the floor. The bed frame is unstable and looks like it will fall under the couch. The bathroom is very small. All the facilities do not match the photos. The swimming pool and fitness equipment are not open. There is no food available for the paid buffet breakfast. choose. The two nights' stay was like staying in a refugee camp, and all the restaurants and shops outside the hotel were closed.」

Elena, the owner and host has made sure each guest is welcomed and pampered with a wonderful breakfast each morning, and ideas and arrangements regarding special culinary tours of the area, or trips to nearby Bologna and Modena. All her staff is as equally charming and engaging as Elena and we missed them all the minute we left. Special bonus, Zoe, the cutest little cocker spaniel ever!」
