"The reviews online rave about the very nice rooms. The reviews and hotel info do not make clear that arriving with a car is very difficult logistically. The hotel boat is moored where there is only a pedestrian footpath. There is no where close by to drop the bags for easy access, many meters from where cars are allowed. There are no actual staff at the location, only virtual staff who cannot help with the luggage drop or movement. You get parking recommendations only after the cancel window...

"Room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful, location right by Gare Parrache is very useful. View over the square and of Basilique Notre-Dame on Fourvière were very nice. Room rates are fair. However, one of two lights in the bathroom was not working and was not fixed over the remaining 7 nights of our stay, so it was a bit dark. The shower area was also very cramped even by European standards. Finally, while not expecting free amenities at the 3-star level, note that a shaving kit...
