The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays to give the help the day off but they still had a limited menu for the guests. They offered steak, local trout, and quiche. These were all very good. "The building was of a good standard but the hotel lacked the friendly approach to their guests. On arrival at 16.30 we found the door locked and had to wait for it to be opened. The hotel listed a restaurant but no evening meal was available. There was no information on times of breakfast or restaurants nearby. Although the hotel is in a beautiful location the hotel totally lacked character. "
