"My room was quite comfortable and I slept well. However, there are no outlets near the bed and I prefer to plug my phone in nearby. The Lift in the back part of the hotel that serviced my room was tricky to figure out. Also the garden is lovely but the tables and chair could be kept more clean. The breakfast was not very good. The eggs were terrible, the bacon was soggy and unappetizing and the pancake machine was broken. I had the yogurt with mueslie but there weren't any fresh berries. For the type of hotel, the breakfast buffet which was valued at 18 euros needs a lot of improvement."

"This hotel is fantastically situated in the historical center of Avignon- everything is within walking distance. It’s no-frills, but spotless and well maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable and in the hot weather, the air conditioning worked a charm. The staff was lovely, welcoming us with a gift tote and a very sweet hand-written welcome note. Breakfast was quite good. Great value for money, absolutely no complaints from us."

"The location of the Bristol is excellent - near the train station and lots of wonderful restaurants. The breakfast buffet gives you a good start to the day. It always has yummy food to enjoy. Jeremy was most helpful in making our stay easy and enjoyable. We'll definitely return to the Bristol next time we're in Avignon."

"We left after inspecting our room, it was noisy, couldn't open the window , only by 10cm. It was not a nice area, felt vulnerable and scared. We had paid up front so disappointed we could not get a refund for our 3 day stay. It was not like the photos on Expedia. Think you need to look at the hotel urgent. Not suitable and scary place. Comments from Expedia were not convinced. "
